The Grand Park Xi'an is located in a great spot. It's right next to a high end shopping center and is right across the street from the Xi'an city wall (south gate). We got a corner room with a view of the south gate and shopping center. Staff was very helpful and let us know how to get around and how to find local places. The room was decent. The bathroom is kind of dark and needs updating and the carpet looked a little dirty. But for the price we paid it was worth it.
The hotel, staff, and amenities exceeded my expectations. The staff are awesome! Impeccable service. Breakfast buffet is definitely worth it! Close to many attractions and within walking distance. I cannot not wait to revisit again in the future!

This is a great hotel for the money! More a 4 star hotel by the western standard but the location was great and the staff were friendly. This hotel is right next to the subway station and in walking distance to the old town/city walls. I will definitely come back to this hotel in my next visit to Xian.
This hotel is clean and fully equipped. I was given a room throughout my seven nights there that has a fantastic view of the Wall, South Gate. It is just perfect location. Next to it is a grand shopping mall....grand price too. Inside you can try out the Japanese Restaurant 味千 (chain store) and the even Pizza Hut. Walk beside the Wall beautiful garden towards west you can find a nice Hongkong Restaurant right behind the Wall Gate. The only drawback to me is the sports facilities like pool table are not properly maintained. The front desk staff are most friendly and helpful especially the manager, Jerry. I was granted an extended check out time until 9pm as my flight was at midnight (my mother - 80 years old was with me), plus a bowl of fruits, which is almost unthinkable for any other places. My sincere thanks to Jerry.
The hotel is very large and spacious and features three dining options. One is the traditional Chinese restaurant where they speak very little English, the other two are buffet and western style dining where English is spoken. The Concierge's desk is willing and able to help you find anything you are looking for, from Maps and directions to Stores for buying Souvenirs for the loved ones. The desk is worked by students from the University of Foreign Relations whose English is almost perfect. They are the ones who can help you with Taxis, service requests, and Very Good Translators. The Front Desk speaks English not as well as the Concierges but better than the Servers at the restaurants. The Desk will change money and break bills into lower amounts. They are the ones who can give you your WIFI code for the free internet.
No complaints. Only there one night. Comfortable and close to the Xian Wall. Didnt really explore much
