Easy check-in to a very clean and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Well run and maintained buffet breakfast with a nice selection. Hot foods varied daily. We definitely plan on staying there next again in the future. The price was higher than some of the other hotels in the area, but we felt it was worth it.

This is a beautiful hotel, either new or recently refurbished. Even the grounds are well designed, attractive, and well maintained. My only negative about the entire stay is that when i arrived for check-in, there was no one at the front desk. I waited for about 3 minutes, and still not one, nor was there a bell to ring. I finally had to call out, "HELLO?", and a voice from the back (which seemed to know that I was there), said, "Yes, sir, I'll be with you in a minute." When the staffer (Zack) came out, he did apologize, saying that he was busy setting up a guest with a safe deposit box. It would have been much better to have just stuck his head around the corner when I arrived and told me he would be with me in a minute. Just leaving a guest standing around without a clue isn't very helpful. The rest of the stay was totally great, but it certainly put a negative spin n my arrival. BTW, this was mid-afternoon, not late at night. The hotel is easy to find and easy to get into and out of.

The staff were very informative and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay

The hotel is in a great location close to the hospital and any ting you want to see. This hotel is very clean , friendly and the breakfast was also good, there was a lot of food.

Great hotel and location. Room next to elevator and it was extremely loud. Soccer group very busy and loud. Sounded like they were practicing soccer above me. Woke me up from my sleep.

I was in town to visit family on an emergency basis so I didn't spend much time at the hotel. The room was just average; the location was appropriate; the staff were friendly and attentive. The cost was a little higher than the amenities and room conditions warranted. The bathroom was in need of repairs and the floor in the shower was squishy with cracks in it that the water fell through. Shower needs to be replaced. Linens were clean and breakfast was good.

We were in Wilmington for business so the location was great, centrally located. Room was clean and nicely decorated but the comforters on the bed were strangely lumpy and there were no blankets (just the comforter). Breakfast was surprisingly good with a selection of hot as well as cold foods. staff of course was great with their southern hospitality going strong. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Within 10 minutes of downtown Wilmington, NC, the Hampton Inn - Medical Park is a good find. The hotel is minutes from NC beaches and relatively close (40 mins) to beautiful Top Sail, NC beaches. Very nice hot breakfast included in price of hotel stay. Bed was very comfy; nice, new, hotel overall. One noticeable negative: while we realize that travelers often have to move luggage in and out of rooms -- there seemed to be long stretches (sometimes 45 minutes worth!) of doors slamming in our corridor. Hopefully, hotel guests are considerate of other guests -- but the hotel can help things by putting spring-loaded door closures on ALL doors of this property.

Overnight business trip. Just off Hwy 76. convenient to my business location. will use property again.

From the friendly staff and comfortable room to the great location, this hotel is a winner in my book. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Wilmington, NC.

We made an impromptu visit to Wilmington and threw our plans together in a hurry. The Hampton Inn was a great location as we were not only going to the beach but downtown as well for a ghost tour. Upon arrival we were cutting it close to get to our tour so the front desk clerk arranged a cab and then proceeded to get us settled in to the hotel. Friendly and courteous service, clean room with a comfortable bed, and a pretty good breakfast buffet the next morning. Not the best priced hotel we found but not overly expensive and worth every penny.

The hotel was good, staff was curteous, room was clean and comfortable. There was enough room to set up a pack n play for my son. The location was convenient to many things in Wilmington. Lots of restaurants and conveniences around. The breakfast was great. One of the better continental breakfasts from this level of hotel. I would stay here again.

I went down with my daughter to visit UNCW for Seahawk Saturday and many people recommended that I stay at a Hampton Inn. I have to say that I was pleased with my accomodations. The room was alittle small and the closet was very hard to get to but overall it was a nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a very nice treat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the area.

we were looking for a hotel close to both the beaches and the downtown. this one is in the middle between both. clean, convenient, cosy, great breakfasts. we asked to stay longer for later checkout and there was no problem with that.

Very clean hotel, nice continental breakfast.

Nice location, great service, friendly people. We loved the breakfast. We also appreciated some little extras that our housekeeper did when cleaning our room. Nothing at all to complain about here.

Three separate families gathered to stay during a wedding and post nuptial celebration in Wilmington. The Hotel was a very comfortable gathering place and central to our various ventures.

I only slept and washed there, sadly - i was hosted for dinner and for breakfast!

Spent minimal time at hotel; was in a workshop and shopped until late.

This was a trip for my wife and I to attend a wedding of a friend at Carolina Beach. Service, the hotel the room we had all very nice. The only thing negative I have to say is I wished we could have been able to check in to our room earlier than the check in time. We arrived about an hour earlier than check in time. We wanted to be able to get ready for the wedding we were attending which pushed us a bit not having that extra hour. I would go back there again because the location was in what seemed to be a nice safe area and not a lot of traffic. VERY NICE experience!
