Basic roadside motel. I was traveling with my dog, so had a pet friendly room. The room had a sliding glass door to a weedy patch and parking area. The door didn’t close properly and the flimsy aluminum bar to lock didn’t give much safety comfort. The staff were kind. The motel was a bit unkempt and rundown. While it was adequate for one night, wouldn’t stay again.

The room is perfect for a place to crash off the highway. You can walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner or breakfast if you don’t find something at breakfast to suit your fancy. There was a leak under my sink that I’m hoping isn’t blamed on me and the ice machine is down but otherwise the facilities are suitable and quaint
