Misrepresented
The property is an only room apartment with an en-suite bathroom and another toilet. Enclosed dining room with French windows has a bed and has been called another room. There’s no proper ventilation in that room and it doesn’t block street light well so it’s hard to sleep in that room.
There’s no communal bathroom. Everyone would need to go through the bedroom of the master bedroom occupant to get to the en-suite shower which is a huge nuisance to all and is against American building code.
TV has no basic cable channels. YouTube tv doesn’t work properly because wifi is very weak.
TV only has Netflix, prime and YouTube. Can’t get Disney or Apple TV.
Apartment is advertised as ground floor but it’s lower ground floor which affects wifi signal strength.
Central heating unit is very loud and is next to the master bedroom. The ceiling is very thin and the occupant upstairs was very loud every evening during our 10 day stay.
Both property managing firm and Vrbo was unhelpful when we highlighted above issues and VRBO said they only help with properties that are uninhabitable. Whole experience came across as rogue trading by the property managers and VRBO.
Positive points- great location to all monuments and museums. Good kitchen and washing machine/dryer.
