Loved it! Great location, wonderful staff and very clean. Beautiful hotel!

This hotel is close to all tourists attractions. All cab and Uber drivers are familiar with the location. Within walking distance to most sites of interest.

Loved it in general. Pillows were too soft. The pillows went flat and thin where you laid your head and put pressure. That made me want to bring my own pillows. Please look into replacing them, those that need it. That would have made our stay complete and close to perfect for me. Desk Help and Concierge Service was excellent. They were helpful and super nice. Loved the apples at the front desk and your fast-moving elevators. Also your room and hotel decor. We could have gotten easily lost in the twists and turns of the hallways finding our room, but we managed. Our room was 426, I believe. It was a bit tricky, even with the room number signs.

Wonderful hotel with an extremely professional staff.

Perfect D.C. Vacation. Staff made sure we had everything we needed. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. It happened to coincide with the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. We flew into Reagan International Airport on a Wednesday afternoon. We transported ourselves to The Mayflower Hotel. I had previous experience with The Mayflower 40 years earlier, as a young man, when I used to ride with my father into work when he would drive to his office at 17th & L Street. He used to take me to "The Grill" at the Mayflower Hotel because of its close proximity to his work. On many occasions I would see J. Edgar Hoover (the "G" Man, himself) dining at lunch at his favorite table. The Grill has now been transformed into a top-notch eatery called EDGAR, named after you know who! The food and drinks are outstanding, and you don't need to leave to The Mayflower to have a memorable dinner. The Mayflower has not lost any of its charm, or gracious manners as a hotel that had made staying in Washington D.C. a "treat" since the 1920's. Its location is in the heart of the business district, and the finest restaurants in the city. Our room, bed and bath, were huge, clean and comfortable. The furniture and bedding were all first class. The lobby is grand, and the Bell Captain, and Concierge, were always helpful and knowledgeable about all of the finest places to tour and experience while we were there in our Nation's Capital. When you talk about great hotels, you need to include The Mayflower of Washington D.C.

The first time we stayed was in March of 2002 with our 2 children. We chose to return this visit for the location and service. The remodel is very nice. We booked our stay this time through ORBITZ. The one disappointment was that although the Hotel is owned by Marriott and we have a Marriott Rewards account we were told by your phone receptionist that we couldn't get points for our stay because of the ORBITZ Booking. I have responded to the ORBITZ Survey and included that comment to them.

No coffee maker, water or anything of that nature in room

I like the Mayflower! I go there on business but I feel like I am on a vacation in the cozy room, with old fashioned elegance, and super-friendly hotel staff. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Mayflower for our anniversary weekend. The hotel was beautiful, we were able to get a good deal online that included breakfast and parking. Check in was easy, the blue/red card option was fun. Everyone was accommodating- Ronnie the concierge, Nii and Candace at the front desk. The only issue we had was that we were promised a small anniversary token by the hotel but I had to ask about it several times before it was finally delivered the morning of our check out. We were promised by Candace over the phone before our trip that this would be taken care of. The lady who checked us in assured me she saw the note in the system. Our anniversary day went by with nothing. The next day- nothing as well. So when I mentioned it to Nii at the front desk the night before he checked in the system and was able to see the notes- and apologized for the oversight. He made sure we were given a nice gift the morning of our check out. We appreciated his efforts to make up for the oversight even though it was not his fault. Breakfast was good each morning with lots of options. I wish there were more non-pork options on the buffet, but each morning the waitstaff was accommodating to our requests. Parking was quick and easy- valet only. We walked to most of the sights and a metro stop was around the corner. All in all it was a nice and relaxing weekend. We will be back!

Beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Great location to see the sights. The staff was friendly and courteous. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed there because of location. We liked it overall.

It was my first trip to DC and the Mayflower was in a perfect walking location to everything we wanted to see. The staff was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

The Mayflower is a beautiful place to stay and filled with history! I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit DC!

Hotel did not live up to the expectations. Last guest dirty clothes was still in the dresser drawers. House keeping came and took them out and cleaned the drawer with her hands. Wifi is NOT free as stated and there is no menu of amenities and services in the room.

It was a good experience. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was accomadating. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We were able to walk where we wanted to go.

Nice hotel- excellent location - near the White house and all the museums.

Staying at the Mayflower was a wonderful experience for my 12 year old son and I from the moment we arrived and were welcomed until we left. The hotel is elegant and you feel special staying there. Every evening they have special treats in the lobby to try. The rooms are very comfortable and nice. They are quit to clean them up and have lots of extra towels. And our last day, after we checked out, the hotel held our bags for us so we could do a few last things. It was a great location just a few blocks from the Whitehouse and the Metro is right on the corner. Taxis were an easy and inexpensive way to return from the National Mall after an evening stroll. I would definitely stay there again!

Planned this trip because my father is a 100 disabled Vietnam Veteran, and due to his health condition, I wanted him to visit the Vietnam Memorial Wall before he got any worse. Booked this hotel due to its high ratings and location. I am pleased to say that it met all our expectations and more. Very friendly staff, and we had a splendid stay. Very satisfied with our stay that I will book my stay there again for our next trip. Thank you so much!

My son and I decided to make a last minute trip to visit family, museums, etc,, and chose the Mayflower because of the positive reviews. Now I understand why the reviews were so positive. This historic hotel is in wonderful condition, the rooms renovated nicely, and very clean. A lot of attention goes into making the guest feel welcome. My 11 year old son was treated especially well. The staff was so friendly to him. The location is ideal for riding the metro. We used it daily when we didn't walk to our destination. It is very walkable to museums and monuments--about a 20 minute walk to the National Mall. I highly recommend the Mayflower. We will definitely be returning.
