Everyone here is nice - the staff is great and welcoming, and I give them no fault. The problem is the rooms are just not quiet. At least not the one I was in. I could hear dumpsters being banged in an alley far below all night. And the people in the room next to mine had a very upset young child with a very shrill cry. It felt like my own child was screaming next to me about once every half hour, all night. Between that and the dumpsters, I didn't really get much rest, so I have to say the whole purpose of the room was kind of defeated, no matter how kind or professional the staff was. Room was clean, bed was comfy, beyond the concerns of external noise. I want to rate the hotel better because everyone was so nice, but it just kind of sucked as to facilities.

Was last minute booking. But all went very well. Would certainly stay at this property again.

Great location. Very safe, easy walking to all sights, very helpful and friendly hotel staff

The staff were extremely nice and the room was really clean. The room wasn't a comfortable temp though, it would get hot then cold. The bed wasn't comfortable either- I tried firm all the way to soft. The combo of the bed and room made it very hard to sleep.

Great location near all the memorials and museums. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. public transport station right across the street. nice, clean rooms.

stay was amazing very clean nice staff i would recommend to friends and family we had a great time

Nice hotel in a great location, access to all Washington favorite touristic destination easily. Nice breakfast and free snacks/coffee all day.

Overall everything was great. I did not bring my laptop, but had my iPhone with me, and in the hotel often I was not getting any bars. Outside the hotel the signal was great. The in-room guest binder said that on check out day, a folio would be slipped under my door, and then to use the quick check out button on the phone to check out. I never received the folio under my door, and pressing the checkout button on the phone only rang 20 times and no one picked up. I mentioned it at the front desk and the woman told me that the process had changed - I will get an email instead - but I never received the email either. So I had to wait on line and check out the old way.

I booked this hotel because it was one of the few hotels that had a pool for my daughter. Turns out the pool was greatly disappointing however we got the bonus of a very conveniently located hotel. It's right across the street from the metro and from there you can go anywhere! Right down the road (within walking distance) is the Washington Monument where you can turn left to the Capitol and museums or right to the Lincoln Memorial and other beautiful monuments. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is great for families and sightseers of all ages.

Very nice hotel and within reasonable walking distance of many attractions. The rooms were very nice and exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly, upscale lobby and hotel. We also ate dinner there which was a nice casual atmosphere and good food. Parking is a little pricey, but other than that everything was great.

Excellent location, next to the Metro, good restaurants and the White House, Smithsonian, etc. Beware that breakfast is not included in most rates. And it is too expensive for the quality of the food, which is just OK.

The hotel was the perfect location for our visit that included business and pleasure. It is located across the street from a metro station which allowed us to quickly and easily travel to the Pentagon for business. We had a good amount of free time during our stay and wanted the ability to walk to tourist sites. This hotel was a short walk to the White House, the Ellipse and buildings of the Smithsonian. The entire staff at the hotel was excellent and very customer service oriented. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We will make this our "go to" hotel for future D.C. trips.

My stay at the Hilton was awesome. Staff was amazing and super nice. Met and exceeded all of my expectations. Will definitely recommend to others I know going.

It was very nice hotel beautiful and very nivery staff I would go back there Fite sure and si close to everything ... everything was in walking distance

My friends and I was originally staying at Ritz Carlton, downtown DC. But an hour after we checked in, we felt like our money was not well spent-- they don't even have an microwave in the room! I am not trying to be mean- Ritz Carlton is a FIVE STAR hotel and it's beautiful indeed... But, when you are spending your parents' money on a Christmas trip, you have to think more than that! Some right away, I booked a hotel room in Hilton Garden Inn. I know it's WAY different from Ritz Carlton but the minute we moved in my friends and I were like "YEAH!!!" - clean room, decent amount of work space, microwave and a fridge! Btw, the gym at Ritz Carlton cost 15 dollars per day, while the one at Hilton Inn is free. Not mentioning the fact that Hilton Inn is only 3 blocks away from the Whitehouse and 7 minutes away (walking) from Chinatown!!!!! AWESOME!!!

We stayed two nights in the hotel. The location is perfect and the hotel reached our expectatives. Great value.

good,it nears many tour sites. I might go there again.

There was nothing really wrong with the place but it was not a particularly positive experience either. The room was smallish and the window was facing a wall. The heating unit was noisy (they did have earplugs available at least). When we were there the business center did not have any internet. The staff was OK.

Great location right next to McPherson metro. Reasonable walking distance to White House, K-Street corridor, Metro Center metro, Double Decker tour bus starting point. You can walk almost anywhere you want to go, and everything else is accessible via Metro. Nothing special about the hotel itself - no complaints and nothing exceptional either. Price was great though considering how close you are to everything. I went for a 3 mile run a couple mornings that took me around 3 sides of the white house, around the Washington Monument, up to Lincoln Memorial and back. Coming from Reagan National you would never need to get in a car or cab except to get to Georgetown or Embassy Row / Cathedral area. All you need is a metro pass and your two feet.

Great Location, Great staff, delicious food, clean, Thanks David for your attention
