We reserved a king bed and received a room with 2 doubles. We arrived at 2 in the morning so we put our do not disturb on the door so we could sleep in... well no... housekeeping knocked on our door and woke us up bright and early the next day despite the sign. When we left for the day I left our do not disturb sign up since we had some valuables out and didn’t want housekeeping to enter our room. This sign apparently means nothing to them though. We came back to our room that night to have it been fully cleaned. I brought this up with the front desk and they could have cared less. Last but not least I accidentally left a fairly expensive bra in the room. We called the hotel and asked if they would be willing to arrange shipping of it back to me, but they claimed that the there was nothing in the room. I’m guessing they threw it out (yes I get it it’s a bra that was left behind but still) and told me they found nothing because that’s just the kind of customer service to expect from this place. I’ve had other hotels call me immediately upon finding things in my room before I even knew they were missing and helping them get returned to me. Guess I need to go buy a new one now.... The only saving grace about this hotel is that it’s in a great location. We were able to walk to almost every place we wanted to see. The bartender also made me a great drink.

We drove To Washington DC from North Carolina. Highway 395 just turned into 14th street where the hotel was located. It was a straight shot. We pulled in front and a valet immediately took care of our car. The check in was fast and our room was ready early. It was quite comfortable. The hotel was 0.7 miles from the mall, a short, pleasant walk. The restaurant we chose was 1 block away (Joe's Seafood). We will definitely stay here again.

We love the location and the price, as well as the staff of the hotel.

This hotel is wonderful, location and service are great. Just one thing... Friday night 6-9pm and Saturday morning from 7:30ish when we stayed, street musicians were making noise. I mean, it was not a part of street noise. They were way to loud for our room.

Very nice staff. Texted when room was ready. Check in process was quick. Fast service to have luggage delivered to the room. Valet equally as quick. Great central location to all DC sites. We walked everywhere and kids never complained. Wonderful eateries nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Oh...good happy hour as well.

Hotel was very clean, close to everything. Will go back.

This hotel was in a great location, close to downtown attractions and the metro line. Was clean and comfortable. Parking is free on the street later on Saturday and all day Sunday.

Walking distance to most things to see and staff of hotel very friendly and helpful

Simple, convenient hotel. No flash yet functional. Walking distance from many touristic attractions, such as The White House and National Mall. Room is a bit dated but was very clean (I suffer allergies but didnt have issues with the carpet, I normally do). Only issue was AC is an old unit and is noisy and doesnt seem to be working well. Other than that it was pleasant.

Everyone here is nice - the staff is great and welcoming, and I give them no fault. The problem is the rooms are just not quiet. At least not the one I was in. I could hear dumpsters being banged in an alley far below all night. And the people in the room next to mine had a very upset young child with a very shrill cry. It felt like my own child was screaming next to me about once every half hour, all night. Between that and the dumpsters, I didn't really get much rest, so I have to say the whole purpose of the room was kind of defeated, no matter how kind or professional the staff was. Room was clean, bed was comfy, beyond the concerns of external noise. I want to rate the hotel better because everyone was so nice, but it just kind of sucked as to facilities.

Was last minute booking. But all went very well. Would certainly stay at this property again.

Great location. Very safe, easy walking to all sights, very helpful and friendly hotel staff

The staff were extremely nice and the room was really clean. The room wasn't a comfortable temp though, it would get hot then cold. The bed wasn't comfortable either- I tried firm all the way to soft. The combo of the bed and room made it very hard to sleep.

Great location near all the memorials and museums. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. public transport station right across the street. nice, clean rooms.

stay was amazing very clean nice staff i would recommend to friends and family we had a great time

Nice hotel in a great location, access to all Washington favorite touristic destination easily. Nice breakfast and free snacks/coffee all day.

Overall everything was great. I did not bring my laptop, but had my iPhone with me, and in the hotel often I was not getting any bars. Outside the hotel the signal was great. The in-room guest binder said that on check out day, a folio would be slipped under my door, and then to use the quick check out button on the phone to check out. I never received the folio under my door, and pressing the checkout button on the phone only rang 20 times and no one picked up. I mentioned it at the front desk and the woman told me that the process had changed - I will get an email instead - but I never received the email either. So I had to wait on line and check out the old way.

I booked this hotel because it was one of the few hotels that had a pool for my daughter. Turns out the pool was greatly disappointing however we got the bonus of a very conveniently located hotel. It's right across the street from the metro and from there you can go anywhere! Right down the road (within walking distance) is the Washington Monument where you can turn left to the Capitol and museums or right to the Lincoln Memorial and other beautiful monuments. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is great for families and sightseers of all ages.

Very nice hotel and within reasonable walking distance of many attractions. The rooms were very nice and exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly, upscale lobby and hotel. We also ate dinner there which was a nice casual atmosphere and good food. Parking is a little pricey, but other than that everything was great.

Excellent location, next to the Metro, good restaurants and the White House, Smithsonian, etc. Beware that breakfast is not included in most rates. And it is too expensive for the quality of the food, which is just OK.
