Tyler was very helpful in resolving an issue with an rude and condensing employee. Of the ten or so employees I can in contact within the week my wife & I were there, i would say 8 were very friendly and helpful.

I had a really good stay here. I especially want to thank the staff I interacted with for being excellent - front desk folks, valet folks, everyone else. Unfortunately, I did encounter one MAJOR problem, but it's hard to blame the hotel - turns out that Wednesday morning at 6am just happened to be some kind of incredibly loud trash pickup behind the building that included the loud beeping tones of reversing trucks and the sounds of large dumpsters being picked up/moved around/dumped - absolutely unbearable unless you really want to be wide-awake by 6am. Seeing as I was up late, 6am was not my planned wakeup time!!! Everything else was excellet.

location

I used valet, but my luggage was never delivered to me. I went to the lobby to find out why and the guy said my car was parked and made me use the staff elevator to get all my bags out the car myself down from the parking garage. I still was charged for valet even though the services was bad

staff was very nice. Room was lovely. Though the TV in my room had many bright spots in the background of the picture. It looked almost like bulbs shining through the screen. I was only there 1 day so it wasnt used too much.

So close to the White House and the national monuments. Worth the price

Great location at a great price!

I booked this hotel for three days and chose to prepay. Unfortunately, American Airlines is having issues and my flight was delayed. I called the hotel multiple times without any answer or voicemail. I also wrote the hotel through orbitz. I never received a response. I showed up on the second day when my flight finally arrived. Instead of crediting me for any of the nights I already paid for, they had taken the money for the three nights, charged me for the one day as a no show fee, and to get a little more money, charged me for a new reservation. In effect, I paid double! The staff member who checked me in was not understanding, sympathetic, or nice. I intend to write corporate about the multiple charging especially when the hotel fails to respond to calls or messages. I shouldn’t have to pay double. Ps. Parking fees are $57–not the same as stated on here.

Excellent location, and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful.

Great location for tourists, walking distance to the White house, National Mall and the Chinatown. The rooms that we had are updated and clean. Courteous staff! The only downside is the $47 valet parking fee, but you have in/out privileges so I guess it's not that bad. Overall, I'll stay here again the next time I come back to DC.

The property was under renovation which we weren’t informed off until the day of check in. The front lobby is very small and under renovation so it was a tight fit just waiting to get checked in. The elevators are very dirty and look like they’ve never been cleaned. The room itself was nice and the location was great! About a 5 minute walk to the White House and 15 minutes to the Washington monument.

Entire staff was amazing and very helpful. Quick and easy check in with professional and friendly staff.
