"DO NOT STAY if you are attending the opera or making a tourist visit to Verona. The website claims that the hotel is 'near' the Arena - 'near' means almost 1.5 km and 25 mins walk, crossing busy traffic roads. In the summer heat this is a challenge. There is NO local transport, so you taxi everywhere. This a classic big box characterless conference/group hotel - it is worthwhile to spend extra for a better location. Poor breakfast, Poor overall value."
