The house is very old and run down. None of the doors close properly, the front door is horrible. The dishwasher was broken and we were not accommodated. Very disappointed

*We loved the beach vibe of this house. The location to the beach was great, only had to walk to the next street and then down to the boardwalk to enjoy the ocean. We were within driving distance to local restaurants and shopping as well as Savannah. The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved having a washer/dryer so we could wash beach towels and any necessities for the next day.*The bedroom layout was a little crazy. Two of the King beds were on the 2nd floor, and each had their own bathroom. However, in order to get to the master bedroom/bathroom, you had to go through the bedroom with the two twin beds. Depending on who is sharing the house with you, this could be an issue. The other King bed is downstairs and secluded. It does have AC and a bathroom but again, it is a little inconvenient for the guests that stay downstairs in that room. *The house could use some improvements and repairs, not a remodeling. There was no hot water for the shower in the master bathroom which was extremely aggravating. There were ants in the kitchen around the sink area. All the doors throughout the house were extremely hard to open and close. The faucet in the kitchen would not move and the pullout would not retract without going under the sink and pulling on the hose. Again, the house does not need to be remodeled, just repairs to what is already there.Without repairs and improvements, I would not stay at this house again.

Our whole family absolutely loved this house! Owners have done a wonderful job with updates while still keeping the houses character. Our kids have already asked to come back and said its their favorite trip.The screened in porch was perfect for puzzles and family game night. Also loved the swinging bed downstairs.*One note, the walk to the beach is easy through the dunes but i wouldnt try to bring a wagon. This wasnt an issue for us but i never saw how to get to the beach before arriving.

Worst vacation ever

From photos we thought it was 4BR with 2 having twin beds but only 1 room had twins. Master could only be accessed by walking through that BR. 4th BR was under the main house. There was a hanging bed under the house in screened in area which is where one of our guest ended up sleeping due to lack of twin beds. First morning we woke up to a weed eater. Took them 4hrs to weed and mow the small yard. Next morning came back from the beach and my nephew literally walked out of the shower to a man standing there. Asked me if it was ok for him to do some outside maintenance and I said it was ok assuming it would be minor since we were there. So out came the chainsaw and table saw. And he kept going inside the under house area where people were sleeping. Lasted for hours. Next morning we were woken by a work crew next door using a gas powered tamper installing a brick parking area for the next door neighbor. Between that and the stone cutting tools it lasted from 7:30 in the morning until about 4:30. Nevermind they had dumped the sand and materials within a foot of our car and got it all dusty. As they were working they blocked the entire driveway. We had to ask them and the neighbor both to move so we could get out. On the Sat the other neighbor had a party and again we were blocked in. The last night we went out to eat at AJ’s. After waiting 1 1/2 hours outside in the rain they said we were next. Then came out and said there was no room and could not seat us. Worst vacay ever!

Roomy Beach Oasis

We stayed a few days, which were rainy, yet this property offered very spacious screened in areas for us to enjoy the “outdoors” and have fun family time. I LOVE a good screened in porch, and this was the ticket for me.

Beach vacation

The rental company was great with communication and the house was clean and had everything we needed. I don't think I had a good understanding of the house layout from the description as the fourth bedroom is basically under the main house. OOverall we had a good time.

Tybee vacation

The house was very comfortable for all the people in our group and the location was very convenient. The bedroom downstairs was a bit unusual and sometimes it couldn’t stay as cool down there. But overall, a very nice spot for our group.

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful and well equipped. It is very close to beach access and the perfect location for a Tybee getaway! The home has a unique floor plan, which complicated the sleeping arrangements we had planned before arrival. For this reason, I suggest a floor plan or more detailed description be added to the listing. Two important items were in disrepair upon arrival, an exterior gate to the basement was broken and unlocked, which in this case was a security concern. We found the bolt lock and lifted the gate up to lock it in place. Additionally, the dishwasher top basket was broken and kept the dishwasher door from closing, preventing use. We reported both of these on the evening of check-in. The rental company was willing to send someone in for repairs; however, we requested the repairs be done following our check-out. The rental company representative was friendly, patient, and helpful. Overall, the home is incredible, so peaceful, convenient, and charming! The interior design is perfectly coastal and upscale. The kitchen has all necessary items for cooking. The furniture, including mattresses, is comfortable. The showers are hot and with good water pressure. The home is clean. The huge porch and the swing beds are added luxury. We loved our stay at Elsewhere!

Can’t say enough good about this place

The house is beautiful and very close to the beach. Private road. So clean. Fit our family of 7 easily. One bedroom is in the downstairs completely separate with its own bath. Had leftover chairs and umbrellas a cooler. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay. LOVED IT and will definitely rent again.

The house was great. Perfect location. Lots of room! I do wish that in the description, it would have mentioned that one of the king rooms was completely separate from the rest of the house. However, I would still stay there again!

What a wonderful place!

This is SUCH a beautiful property. All of the original wood floors and walls were so beautiful. That paired with a modern kitchen and bathrooms really made this a special place to stay for the week. We were lucky enough to be treated to some epic thunderstorms in the late afternoons and really enjoyed sitting on the very large screened in porch to watch them. The house is situated on a lovely little lane and it was pretty quiet all week. No direct beach access of course but it was just around the block so not too bad. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back some day.

Incredibly charming

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house appears to be recently renovated/decorated, but the owners retained many of the original elements for a really special, old-school beach house charm, in the best sense of the word. This is clearly someone’s labor of love, and it shows. The house was also impeccably clean and the management company was very responsive (we got a text back immediately when we texted regarding an issue…which turned out not to be an issue at all). Hats-off to the owners. Will definitely return!

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a great time on the beach and relaxing on the screened porch. The house was very comfortable and met all of our needs. We would definitely book this house again!
