The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was small by contemporary standards: bath tub/shower and toilet in a small room, basin and countertop directly across from the door. The room door opens into this space. The double beds were excellent and almost too many fluffy pillows (four per bed). Very comfy. Quiet. The dressing area (basin) light illuminated the room, so it's difficult to be an early riser and let others sleep while you shave or do morning hygiene. There was a small fridge and a microwave one in the room, nicely hidden and out of the way. Nice TV and cable set up. Small writing desk and good number of outlets to charge phones, laptops, etc., mostly in the lamp bases. Not really a good situation for lengthy office work, if it's a business trip. If all you need is a comfortable, quiet place to sleep, thumb's up. The free breakfast was adequate. Dining room is very small. Sausage and fried eggs (not scrambled) in a covered server, conveyor toaster for toast and bagels, pastries, cereals, and a pour-your-own waffle iron. Juices and coffee. (Had better coffee.) You get what you pay for.
Upon arrival there were differeces with our billing. The front desk had no clue as to why. The pool was green and dirty. We asked if it was going to be cleaned and open, we were told yes. However that never happened. The elevator was broke down several days. The mattress on our bed was a queen on a king frame. We paid for a queen.
Everything was great - Except - for the whole week we could never get on the hotel internet. Made it very difficult to do our business on line.
When I booked this hotel I was not informed they would be in the process of remodeling. Closet had exposed sheet rock and no door. Bathroom door had a white patch on brown door. Hallways were atrocious and they need a new elevator. It sounded like it wanted to give out. I spoke to the front desk and she said they started remodeling at the end of April. I booked in the middle of April. Didn't get an email. I will not be staying at Baymont again.
When I went to check in, I was informed that due to renovations at the hotel, I was moved over to the Hilton Garden Inn next door.. However, I was traveling with my dog and the other hotel didn't allow pets, so they switched things around and let me stay. I appreciate that they were willing to work with me there. I just wanted to warn people that the entire hotel is being renovated right now... But if they are overbooked, they are fully prepared to make sure you're taken care of. Other than that, the room was clean and I was never disturbed by any renovations being done.
I was able to accomplish everything I needed to do. It was clean and comfortable. I will tell my friends and family and business associates. I will stay there again. Thanks David Woodard
The whole hotel and my room smelled like chain smokers.
Getting to the hotel is a little tricky. The cleanliness of the room was very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was big enough. The staff were all pleasant. I will stay here again when I have to be in Tulsa.
Very nice stay, clean rooms and a friendly staff. The location is convienent, but a little tricky to get to because of the road changes. Plenty of places with in walking distance to eat.
I extended my stay here because the hotel and staff are nice, the price was great, and overall, I like the room. Easy to find a place close by, shopping center close. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable room for a good price Baymont is a good place to stay.
Rating this hotel is difficult. The hotel is a bit old but it's kept very well. The room I stayed in was large, had a wide-screen, hi-def television, desk, plenty of lights and electrical plugs. It did not have a microwave or fridge and the coffee maker is a tiny one small cup at a time model. I really like this hotel because the location is very good, the staff are very nice, the king size bed was very comfortable and the place was fairly quiet. It has a swimming pool and exercise room and a nice free breakfast. The Baymont is not posh, but it is a nice place to stay for a very reasonable price; that's why I am giving it good marks.
It was a nice place and the room was clean when we arrived, but we were there, thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday..... Our room was not cleaned once and I had to find the house keepers and give them our dirty towels, to get clean ones. I took our trash out, because they never did. I loved the fridge and desk, the beds were great as well, but the house keeping left something to be desired.
It is a little difficult to find. But in a nice spot within walking distance of several places. We were given a non smoking room on the smoking floor. So the hallway smelled horrible but you couldn't even smell it in the room. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, there were "things" smeared on the wall. Yuck. It was kinda rough, but it fulfilled its purpose for a cheap price.
All staff members were very friendly and helpful, room was very clean, entrance was clean and very presentable. I wish there was a entrance off the main road, but worth the zig-zag. I WILL stay at this hotel again. We slept in so we did not get to check out the breakfast.
Staff is pleasant. Rooms are very clean. Nice tv. Corridors need some work. Good value if you are working or staying over in Tulsa.
Location was great, not all amenities were in the room that were stated online.
On road trip to St Louis from Dallas. Stopped for a nights rest. Pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Great value.
Staff very polite and helpful. Room clean and temperture perfect.Breakfast was very good and nice to have it there.
If you can get this room for under $50 it is worth the stay. Hotel is getting a little dated and showing its wear, but it is a good value if you can get it at the right price.
Disappointed to get a king bed instead of two doubles which I had requested. Breakfast was good including make your own waffles. Ten to fifteen minutes from the state fairgrounds.
