Typical small room with fair sound proof. Though located close to 3 different train station (JR Suidobashi 水道橋, Kudanshita 九段下, Jimbocho 神保町), it not convenient to travel to some popular tourist spots e.g. Ikebukuro 池袋 or Tsukijishijo 築地, with at least one transfer is needed. Having said that, if you are not fans of those tourist spots, there are enough restaurants, drugstores, convenience stores around for a short stay. Staffs are friendly, but a bit hesitate to communicate in English. As in other reviews, breakfast is included with basic food choices, mostly bread. With my next visit, still prefer hotels in Shinjuku新宿 / Ikebukuro池袋 areas, where connected with all key hot spots by one JR Yamanote 山手線.
The room was very small we was on the 11 floor and could smell food cooking in our room all night even though the hotel did not have a restraint and the nearest one was in the next street . The breakfast in the morning was very basic and was set up in the reception area and was not big enough for the number of people and was very cramp
First time in Japan and stayed here for 4 nights. Small but adequate room, with nice view of the street. Room was cleaned everyday, toothbrush, comb etc are provided. Breakfast was pretty basic (eggs, some form of meat, bread, coffee, juice), if you need variety there are nearby convenience stores (7-11 and lawson). There's a nearby coffee shop called Kanda Coffee, tried the milk coffee and its was pretty good. Great location, about 3 minutes walk from Jimbocho Station (Hanzomon, Shinjuku & Mita lines), take exit A2, turn right and then right again at the bank, walk straight up the street and the hotel is opposite a 7-Eleven/Dennys. Overall a pleasant stay, wouldn't mind coming back here the next time I visit Tokyo.
5 mins from Jimbocho, maybe 20 from Kudanshita, a 7-11 next door, a wondeful coffee shop 2 mins away, a pizzeria 5 mins away.... and some more.. the location is perfect. The room is tiny, but so is the case everywhere else in Tokyo. The room is comfortable though, the bathroom is very well equipped and the view doesnt matter. Yes, the disappointment is the breakfast, for a vegetarian. Canned juice, some cabbage and cucumber, some dressing, their standard egg prep, some bacon/n-veg dish, a soup and bread and coffee. So if you are a vegetarian, you will be disappointed... for a non-veg, its a good hostel breakfast. But 4-stars coz the location and is the cleanliness is just perfect. Go for it - we loved the connectivity as well. Tip - Jimbocho is closer than any other station. Take exit A-1, and you will be able to wheel your suitcase to the hotel.
Good location since it was near Jimbocho,Kudanshita and Suidobashi stations, and lots of places to eat including a 7-Eleven right across the hotel. Small room with the basic amenities. Everything was clean and didn't have any unpleasant smells. Room was tidied everyday. We were assigned a room on the third floor so there was some noise from emergency vehicles occasionally. Good service and nice, tasty breakfast every morning.
Stayed in may 2014. Bed was a bit hard and pillows like rocks. They changed out the pillows to the best ones they had. Good location close to train and various food. Had a self service laundry which was good. Breakfast was also included.
Great hotel comfortable and cosy room. Great location being close to Jimbocho station with local Dennys and 7/11 across the road. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Breakfast included is Japanese/Western style Eggs + Salad + Alternating meat between meat balls and sausages. Will stay again next time in Tokyo.
We asked for a silent room and we got it. Bed was comfortable and we had a nice view. Everything seemed to be clean although I found some hair in the bathroom! Breakfast poor. But nice location and I will come back again.
Had a very nice stay with my fiance , accommodated us with anything we needed , comfy beds ,typical space for a Japanese hotel room ,couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was great ,all you needed to start your day. 7/11 was across the street for any midnight cravings you get. Also 2 lawsons were around the block , Dennys is also on top of 7/11, great little Ramen and curry restaurants in the neighborhood, close to all sight seeing locations. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.
Business style hotel in a nondescript area of Tokyo. 16 square meter room, utilitarian. Good wifi. Small fridge, hot water heating pot, small work desk, one chair. no real closet, small luggage rack. Had I been traveling with more than carry one or a small suitcase it would have been pretty tight. But though spartan the room was quite adequate for my needs. It turned out to be very very quiet, which is essential to me in a good hotel room. The bathroom was fine, plenty of hot water. Room was made up well each day with clean sheets and towels. The breakfast is on tables in the lobby. As others have said it's pretty limited - salad, eggs, meat, some breads and toast - along with tea, coffee, OJ, and milk. It gets crowded but you can also take it out to your room. Breakfast was totally adequate and is not in general an exciting meal to take in Japan. Very convenient to the Jimbocho station, though if you come in on the Mita line you walk 10 minutes through the station to get to exit A2, from which its only 3 minutes to the hotel. When I'm in Tokyo I'm not interested in staying in my hotel room other than to sleep and get ready in the morning, so this one did the job for me. And I did sleep very very well.
