Annual Sister YaYa trip

We were VERY happy with our stay at this adorable Three Oaks, Michigan home. The hosts thought of every thing to make our stay feel as homey as possible! Things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee etc. were top notch. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we thought we were in a 5 star hotel. We were also very close to all the events in the area! Thank you so much for making our annual sister trip so enjoyable!

Couldn't ask for anything more!

Very positive stay, decor is current, condition is excellent. for some reason we didn't realize the out building was accessible to us ahead of time. My mistake for not reading the handbook until time to leave. One thing you may want to know is that there is a sewer gas smell when you run the water. Particularly strong in the king bedroom bath. thank you for a great place to stay.

Charming and Seamless

We loved our stay here. The location was great- walking distance to the lovely downtown area, and very drivable to beaches. The owners were readily available to answer questions and exceptionally helpful and generous when. We forgot a few times and they shipped them back to us. The house itself was clean, cozy, well equipped, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!we plan to be back!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay very much and gave five stars all the way around. When there were a couple of glitches with the HVAC system, the owner was very responsive to quickly correct the situation. We will likely enjoy staying there again. Thank you.

Charming Home with Lovely Extras

Loved our stay at the Three Oaks Home with Guest House in November! The home is very warm and inviting with lots of lovely touches and amenities throughout. The "bonus house" is a great addition and wonderful option whether you want a peaceful moment alone or want the evening to continue while others want to sleep in the main house. The deck and firepit were very inviting but the weather didn't allow us to utilize them. We'll definitely keep this house in mind for future visits.

Quaint and Comfortable

This was a cozy and charming little house in a lovely country town away from the fast pace but close enough to get to things in a short drive. We stayed here for a weekend for the Notre Dame game. About a 30-minute drive to South Bend. The host was outstanding! Very responsive to anything we needed. Highly recommended for families and small groups.

Fantastic Stay!

This place is fantastic! We planned a couples ND game/golf trip and rather than get gouged with paying game weekend lodging prices in South Bend, we opted for staying in Three Oaks, only about 30 minutes from ND. What a great choice as there’s so much to do in the area! My husband tells me the golfing at Harbor Shores and Whittaker Woods was top notch. Four Winds Casino was a stone’s throw away. I didn’t have much luck at the black jack table but they had a great 80’s cover band in the lounge the night we went. The guys watched football all day Sunday in the guest house (it’s basically a man cave) while the ladies went shopping in downtown St. Joseph and sampled the local wineries. The town of Three Oaks is super cute with several restaurants and Journeyman’s Distillery had some exceptional drinks and the men enjoyed their whiskey flights. The place itself was awesome! We easily fit four couples and the pull-out queen bed in the guest house was super comfy as were the other beds in the main house. It’s clear the owners were very thoughtful about how they set up the house for guests and were also very accommodating with an early check in. The place was well-stocked with stuff like fire wood and coffee pods and it was a nice touch that the owners left us a welcoming bottle of local wine. We got lucky with great weather so were able to grill & enjoy the outside dining area and the fire pit was perfect at night. I can’t say enough good things about the trip. We'll be back!
