It began when we got to the hotel a little early and there was no one at the front desk. Sign said to ring the bell but I guess they forgot to leave the bell out. Waited 10 minutes for someone to notice me. Finally a lady that was cleaning rooms came by and told me I couldn't check in. They didn't have any rooms clean and to come back after 3pm. Came back after 3pm and waited 20 minutes before we were finally checked in. She asked for a credit card and I gave her one and she ran it twice before giving me the key to the room. We went to the room and the door opened without putting the key in. Realized the room does not lock at all and went back to the front desk. She told me my credit card didn't go through because it was a debit card and she needed a credit card and she would need to move us to another room. We were moved next door and the cover on the bed looked like it had blood stains. We changed out the bed clothes ourselves with the room that would not lock. If this wasn't enough the next day we were out all day and came back to the room and it was never cleaned. Went back to the front desk and told another girl and she got someone to clean our room and told us they still had us listed in the other room. We told her about the blankets and the sheets we took from the other room so we didn't get charged for taking the blankets and sheets because apparently they are so popular that people like to take them home and they charge you $60 for sheets and $50 for blankets! Absolutely horrible stay and I can't believe that Priceline has this hotel as a 3 star. Will not book without knowing the hotel again!!! Sign at the desk says no refunds after checking - no big surprise.
Overall good stay, but continental breakfast left something to be desired. Not enough variety and not enough seating.
We were there two nights, the 17th and 18th of july 2017. Ended up with an extra charge on our credit card and not able to talk to anyone to rectify the issue. We first had a room that the air conditioner did not work and moments later the gal at the desk told us someone else that is a regular wanted the room and she would give us a better room at no extra charge. So we changed rooms. We left for the morning of the 18th and came back to out unattended room except that used towels had been taken. Hours later some one came offered services but it was pointless at that time. Left the following morning. Home now and taking care of business and there is an extra charge of 138.00 on our acct. I have been calling and trying to talk to a manage for 2 days. She is never in. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
This wasn't the best stay I have had at a hotel, mainly because our original room was not ready upon check-in. The room that we ended up staying in had a malfunctioning door handle and we had to have hotel assistance to open it every time. The hotel has done a face lift to modernize the space, but it is still cheaply run and maintained.
Clean and updated, located in central location. Beds are good. Good value for the price.Only negatives, sheets had some ink stains and front desk needed more staff. I wish they had outdoor seating to relax and enjoy scenery.Breakfast is minimal but good. I would stay again
Price was right. Booked room online and was advertised as a suite that slept 6. When we arrived was told it only slept 4. They ended up giving us a single roll away which worked out because we had 5. The room configuration was actually pretty good. 2 separate bedrooms and one common area. Only complaint was that the common room only had one little table and 2 chairs. My daughter said the sheets need to be replaced.
So many problems with this property. The Internet didn't work at all and the staff acted as if it had just gone down and they were surprised that it wasn't working. Turns out after reading other reviews here it's been out for weeks maybe months. I spoke to the manager about securing a $10 credit for the lack of Internet and that I had to pay on my personal phone for Internet in order to complete Business. She agreed that she would credit my account. This was never done and I've had several correspondence with her which she has ignored. Whoever owns this property needs take a close look at the management, the public areas are filthy dirty. As you enter the building the glass doors of the property looks like it has not been cleaned in several weeks and the floors are full of stains from spilled Coke, spilled coffee and other spilled drinks. Carpets are filthy dirty. The breakfast that they offer is quite a disaster. I'm wondering now about the health department and how often are they inspect this operation that I will look into it later this week. This property is a disgrace for a Super 8. I will be alerting Wyndham hotels as well as my credit card company about the fraudulent charge that was put on my card. I suggest the manager return the $10 back onto my card as she promised before other reviews are written in social media.
We were looking for an inexpensive motel for a couple of nights in Taos. Nice room, southwest decor, clean, and staff was friendly.
No internet and could not find a manager, even though she lives there, to receive our Wyndham employee discount. Paid way too much for a poor hotel.
I called to add two additonal nights for our stay and and when we arrived on the evening of our first night; the hotel staff person did not see our added evenings. The manager overheard and showed the staff person our additional nights. The room was not vacuumed properly; I stepped on a prickly bur and there were two long black hairs on the toilet lid that did not belong to us. I wrote a note to the housekeeper but she did not respond so I talked with the manager. The second night; our bathroom door fell off the hinge ( the top hinge was not installed correctly). We showed this to the hotel manager and his wife. There were burn spots in the carpet. Overall we did enjoy our stay but we were disappointed that we had to point out things to the staff. The desk personnel treated us kindly and were helpful. The air conditioner did not work as well as we liked. The Wi-Fi only worked our first night--We stayed four nights.
