I travel to Tampa a couple times a month and when I do I stay at this TownePlace Suites. Superior management and friendly staff takes the edge off of the challenges of business travel. They will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.
The front desk folks, Candice, Justin, and the others are cheerful, helpful, and a pleasure to see everyday of the 1 1/2 months I have been here. Many thanks to Faten who takes care of my room each day. She does a better job than I would have imagined and she is always a pleasure to talk with. Faten works hard, is always ready to help, and any time I ask for something or for help, she always takes care of it. She also sprays my room down with air freshener after she is finished. That's a nice touch. Many thanks also to Roslyn who puts together breakfast for us everyday. She is a pleasure to talk with and a nice lady. I hurt my ankle a few days ago and many folks ask how I'm doing and if they can help. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and in the US, sometimes for lengthy periods and the Towneplace has sold me. I decided 1 1/2 months ago I will stay at one if there is one in the town I am in. Once I found it 3 hotels ago, I have not switched. Thanks for such a great experience everyone and thank you Faten for all you do! I sincerely appreciate it.
Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay for temporary, even with kitchen ready for cooking or drinking coffee! No cutting internet services to all devices. Amazing landscape for a stroll to enjoy with kids. Kids enjoyed swimming there. And, friendly staff service, especially Linda during breakfast hours in mornings! Linda also showed her concerns of our well-being during the hurricane Irma. So overall, it is a best feeling for us to stay there. :)
I stayed at this location 2 weeks ago with my husband and twin children. We were there to go to Busch Gardens to celebrate their 13th birthday. The hotel and room were comfortable and clean!!! Linda the breakfast buffet attendant was one of the friendliest people I have met when travelling. She was awesome!
We needed to commute to Tampa for a medical consult, and found TownePlace I-75, to be conveniently near I75, close to the University, and the room and services met our needs for a short stay. We booked a studio suite, and had a open kitchen, queen size bed, desk and work light and great internet, plus a sofa. I've had 3x back fusions, so the bed matters, and the bed was fine. The buffet breakfast was available but we choose to go to Starbucks which was only 1+ miles away. If staying longer, I may choose another location, as there were minimal retail nearby, but we were pleased with the accommodations.
I stayed in a studio suite and it was beyond what I expected. The hotel was booked and I was hoping for a larger room, but this studio exceeded the space I was looking for. The staff was great, but Linda stood out the most for me during my morning stops for breakfast. She made sure I had any and everything that I needed. I came in late and she made sure I got something before packing up and while she packed up and listened to my concern about my upcoming appointment. She is a great addition to the staff and can't wait to see her again.
The hotel is clean. Staff is friendly. Linda keeps the breakfast with great options to eat. For the price, this hotel is the best option of bed and breakfast for a family going to adventure island or Busch gardens...
I would definitely recommend this hotel. I have used it three times now, twice for multiple days. The breakfast for the guests is great! Rosalind does such a great job, and her colleague also does. Both make sure guests get whatever they need and the breakfast bar is well-stocked and clean. It is just so wonderful that even with a kitchen in the room, we can go down and get something to eat for breakfast, and not just "junk food" either. I have had juice, yogurt, eggs, oatmeal. The meat is not my favorite-it just seems that texture and taste of "mystery meat." The rooms are certainly older and there are some difficulties with some equipment, like the refrigerators. However, any difficulties are taken care of promptly.
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights, 3 days. It was very clean, homey, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast cook was great! Definitely try to get your butts up in the morning for the yummy breakfast.
I'm staying here for business while on a project and it's a nice extended stay. The staff are very helpful. They have a grill to use with a full compliment of utensils for it. The rooms are getting a bit worn, but they are clean. Be sure to tell Rosalind Good Morning when you are having breakfast and wish her a good day! She always has a hot breakfast ready right at 6:30 (sometimes a little before for those of us needed to get going early)! It's nice to see some friendly faces while on the road!
