TERRIBLE DOUBLE BOOKING EXPERIENCE. I booked this rental in December for my daughter & me after I bought concert tickets at RJ stadium. We received the booking confirmation immediately & also a confirmation on Wednesday prior to our Saturday stay. Check in was at 5:00 so we got there a few minutes early and texted the property manager for access information. The property manager responded at 5:20 stating: “we sincerely apologize…sorry for the inconvenience…appreciate your understanding”. They double booked us and we had nowhere to stay.We were left in a very stressful situation of trying to find a hotel in a city where everything was sold out due to the concert. The PM sent us two options they found - a hostel (!) & a sketchy hotel 30 minutes outside of the city. The only option we could find in town was a room at 1,270. With all the time lost, we ended up missing the openers & dinner together.The PM’s assistant said our booking was within a minute of another guest booking the property through another rental site. She assured us V*bo would reimburse us & cover additional fees for the inconvenience. Though the PM claims it's V*bo’s responsibility for not catching the double booking, this seems like something the PM should have been on top of as well.After 90 minutes on the phone with V*bo, they refused to cover any additional expenses. After disputing the matter, they reluctantly made it right. Very frustrating situation all around. We cannot recommend this property.
