Very nice condo. Great location and has all needed amenities. Suggest adding new pillows. We never received a parking pass from VRBO! On site, maintenance man doubles as parking enforcer! He noted who we were, gave us a makeshift parking pass, so we wouldn’t get towed!

We opened the door to the unit and was smacked in the face by a strong musty smell. The overall cleanliness of the unit was very lacking. I found dirty glasses in the cupboards and dirty silverware in the drawers. The flat surfaces in the kitchen and the dining room table were very dirty. There was dirt and dust in the corners of the bedroom. The sheets on the bed were clean but very rough and scratchy feeling.The temperature in the unit climbed to 81 degrees by 9 pm the night we arrived. I contacted the maintenance company and they told us they would get someone out to check the unit. After contacting them many times over the next day, they finally sent someone out to check the unit on Monday mid-day. That person told us it wasn't reported to the local office until that morning. We had to sit around the rest of the day waiting on a repair person to finally fix the unit. They gave us an 89 refund and thought that should make everything ok.The balcony was great and the beach was beautiful.

Spring Break 2025

The property did an excellent job in getting cleaned up and ready for the season. The pool and hot tub were open and clean. The room was well appointed and we would stay there again.

Lied about pool being done

Vacasa told us pool was ready. There was even water in pool no grills no jacuzzi. Said it would be ready, by the he time I researched and found out it wouldn’t be they wouldn’t let me cancel. Our room was nice though. Poor management by Vacasa!

Great location, nice space, bad bed

The space was great for the 2 of us. Lots of elbow room. Balcony view was great. Unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable. It is clearly old with visible body impressions and a ridge in the middle. Woke up with a back ache every morning. I would stay again if it gets a new bed.

Adequate

Nice view of the beach. Condo adequate for two people, not for more. Laundry facility conveniently on same floor as condo. We were gone for 6 weeks and had our mail forwarded. Then found out the condo owner had no mailbox key. The bedroom mattress is uncomfortable; needs replacement. Elevator is slow.

Pro's & Con's

Lets start from the beginning. 1. When trying to enter our condo there is a lock box with what we were assuming a key inside on the wall next to the door. We entered our 4 digit code like instructed from the email XXXX and nothing happened. The door handle had a black box around it but i tried and tried to get a key pad or somehting to appear and nothing. I call the customer service line and she gave me specific instructions on how to get the keypaf to appear (never was given these SPECIFIC instructions in an email) as well as was told there is a * at the end of the code (again in no email did the condo code have a star at the end). Upon entering the condo everything seemed to be clean. We appreciated the beach chairs available and noodles, as well as box fan. Bring your own toliet paper and shower towels! Dust all over ceiling fans. From talking to othet residents seemed like thr cleaning crew needs trained. 2. After dinner the first night we were getting onto the elevator to take us up and we saw 5-7 cockroaches hanging out by the elevator. Then we found them in our room!!! Customer service answered quickly and got pest control out to our condo the next day but COCKROACHES that is the last thing i want to worry about on vacation!! Thankfully we didnt have any morr in our room after but i have never had that issue in the 30 years i have been traveling to Florida. Hopefully they will do something after this review and many others that stayed there during the infestation.

good condo

The property was very nice. It was true to the description. location was good. Many issues with the facility and scheduled maintance during my short stay. poor communication with Vacasa. I would never use this company again if able. the building also had elevator issues all days of the stay. Room was on the 7th floor. Needless to say We had to hand carry all belongings. Down 7 flights of stairs with a bad knee. One step of a time.

Nice—but elevator is horrible!

Our condo was fine—we knew it wasn’t anything fancy. As others have mentioned—an update is certainly in order. The only thing in the cupboards was salt and pepper—again fine—just a heads up if you’re used to more well appointed kitchens. The door lock made me nervous as it seemed less than secure. However, you have to use a code to get up the elevator and up the stairs. Which leads into the worst part of the condominium—the elevator. SLOW—SLOW—SLOW and HOT—HOT—HOT! There seemed to be zero ventilation in the elevator—it was like being trapped in a sauna. They were able to put an after market security camera—why not a fan? Really—anything that would help make it bearable. Not one person I ran across didn’t mention these elevator issues. I was told the elevator has been down the day before we arrived. It seemed to be functioning once we arrived. Then the day before we left I entered the elevator on the 7th floor and hit the ground floor—doors closed—then nothing happened. I hit the button again. Nothing. I hit the open door button and it opened up to the 7th floor. It did this twice. I reported it to the on-site property manager. He stated he just has the elevator company out the week prior—then told me they are waiting for a circuit board that will be in next week. Just a cautionary tale—if you physically cannot handle stairs either up or down—this may not be the place for you. Pool was clean—I watched them clean it from the balcony. Overall a positive.

Very Nice

We had a very nice stay at 705! The area is something we're very happy with. The beach never gets to congested. The pool, hot tub, grill area, is very nice. It's an easy walk to John's Pass. Plenty to do within walking distance. The room itself is very nice. The open concept is great, the view is spectacular, and everything was comfy. The 4 star comes from some cleaning we had to do when we 1st got there. Nothing major, just swept under the tables, and found a Coke bottle under the couch. Also, the stove is OK. Tried boiling a pot of water for spaghetti noodles. We let it go 30 minutes and it never did boil. Don't let that take away from this place though. Other than that, everything was extremely nice. We liked it so much we've already reserved again.
