Birthday getaway.

The condo was okay, there was a few things that we didn’t care about too much. The living room tv didn’t work, the remote in the bedroom is missing buttons so you can’t change your channels without typing in a certain channel and go from there. The main bathroom doesn’t flush very well. Did contactless check in but still had to go to the office to retrieve our keys. The condo suited for the few days we were there but not sure we would stay at this unit again.

Summer stay

This was our first time to Florida and what a great way to experience it by staying at the Gulf Gate. Seriously a 30 second walk to the beach which was very convenient for us and our two young children. Our room and view of the ocean was exactly as described and pictured online. We arrived after hours and the check in instructions were easy and well communicated. The only complaint was that it appeared the carpets hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Overall our stay was very satisfactory and would stay here again.

Great beach getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Gate. It was too cool to use the pool but the walking on the beach was spectacular. The sand is so white and the beach is huge. Walking to the Pass-a-grille neighborhood for lunch was so nice. There are also so many restaurants very close to the condo. You don’t need a car unless you want to venture to Clearwater beach or downtown St Petersburg. The condo was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Nice having the k cup coffee maker. Overall, very pleasant stay.

No hassle, peaceful retreat

We've rented several other VRBO properties and this was by far the easiest rental experience. The condo building is managed like a hotel, which meant very little was required of us. The unit itself was nice - spacious, quiet (we never heard neighbors or traffic), well stocked with everything we needed and super clean. It's not fancy, but had absolutely everything we needed. I can't say enough about the beach location. There are big resorts about a block away in both directions and looking down the beach we could see those areas were packed. The beach in front of this unit: practically had it to ourselves. It was amazing! Also, there are cabanas with chairs to rent on the beach, if you so desire. We chose this option over schlepping a bunch of stuff down to the beach. The sign says "Have a seat - an attendant will be by shortly." We were there hours and they never came so we didn't have to pay. Obviously not a part of this building, just a surprise bonus! Restaurants and bars within walking distance but also super easy to drive around. We can't wait to go back.

Great stay

Everything was perfect, except the location for us. It was very quite which was nice but there was NOBODY around unless you traveled a mile or 2 North (which seemed to be the main area of hangout spots). We personally werent looking for quite but if your looking for that then this place is perfect.

Worth the price for the stay

This place is definitely worth the price to stay on the beach. It is a bit out dated but the host didn’t describe it any different. There is not two bedrooms, just one with a king bed and then a queen size Murphy bed in living room. The bedroom balcony is right off the elevator and hallway which is a little odd but just make sure your sliding door is locked. You can see the beach from there though too! The living room balcony overlooks a parking lot and main road. The walls themselves were thick enough not to hear traffic. Biggest issue was the noisy people upstairs that let their two year old run around their unit and tap their feet until 1am and all throughout the day. That you can hear VERY well. Kitchen was stocked for what we need. Location would normally be perfect except for the construction which is why I gave it a 4. But for the price this was worth staying here!

Mother Daughter Getaway

We had a great stay in St Pete Beach at Gulf Gate Resort. Staff was friendly and helpful, and other guests were great too! It was a perfect spot to relax at the pool/spa, or just a few steps away from direct beach access. We chose not to get a rental car, and walked to shops, store, and plenty of restaurants. Condo was exactly like the pictures, and just what we needed for peace and quiet. We would highly recommend and stay again in the future.

Perfect getaway

Everything was great! Loved how clean and pretty and comfortable the place was. Pleasantly surprised it was nicer than the photos and you never know when you book from looking online. Also loved that it was very private feeling. Not crowded at all. Would definitely stay again!! Thank you!

Great getaway!

Very peaceful, quiet place to stay. Everyone was very friendly, we had everything we needed in our condo. Grocery store was close by and we stayed in and cooked several nights. Plenty of restaurants close by also. We could see the ocean from our balcony, and the beach was just a short walk away! We would definitely stay again!

St Pete’s beach just steps away!

This property is just steps from st Pete’s beach. Plenty of places to walk to for food and drinks. Liquor store and grocery stores are down the block (opposite directions!). The property was very clean but the views of ocean and bay are not quite as described.

Outstanding property! Immaculate!

Perfect situation. Clean, 1.5 bath, 1 BR unit gave my husband and I are own space. Two balconies — one faces main drag and bay with sunrise. Other views beach and sunset, literally a few steps away. Well situated to restaurants a d shops. Garage parking.

Great Location

Condo was clean when we arrived. Check in was easy and provided us the access code when arriving after hours. Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Pool and hot tub area are small but nice. A couple things that would’ve been nice to have at the condo for guests are beach chairs, beach towels, and laundry det. We bought beach towels at the store and rented a cabana on the beach which is $25 a day which adds up. The beach was nice, clean, and not crowded. I would definitely rent this property again.

NEEDED VACATION
