This was a great little condo. It was very clean and perfect for one person. It has a view of the ocean and it's just a little walk around the complex to get to the beach.

Love Beachers Lodge, hated this unit

We have stayed at Beachers Lodge multiple times and have always enjoyed our stays. We have stayed in multiple units in the building and have loved them all. This unit however was the exception. This was a last minute trip with my grandchildren and all the usual units I book were full. It’s located on the far side of the building furthest from the pool and beach access. To access it you have to go up a flight of stairs with all your luggage. To get to the beach you have to either go down the flight of stairs and then up another flight of stairs or walk across the parking lot to access the ramp. It was stated in the listing that it was an upstairs unit but I didn’t get a unit number until after I paid so I didn’t know that it was on the opposite of the property from the beach access. The location was undesirable, especially with a beach wagon and two small children. When we arrived the AC was off and the remote for the unit didn’t work. Once I turned it on I could only turn it down so low. Beachers Lodge is our favorite spot to stay but I won’t book this unit again. The staff were wonderful and helpful as always.

Wedding Stay

Not what I was expecting but it was okay. The room was small suitable for one or couple. It's not an ocean view but just a little hop aways. The ocean can be seen from window just look past parking lot. It was easy to find and close to everything we needed. Don't like the late check ins especially coming in out of town. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but the sheets and pillows were clean. It was good for a short stay.

Clean, fun but tiny.

Not the easiest with kids because no elevator with groceries, supplies and beach items. If you do not have folding wagon to help and extra hands it can be tough. Also not all the outlets worked in the kitchen and there is no stove or dishwasher. But will definitely stay here again. Felt safe and family was happy. The plaza across the street is a great place for dinners and ice cream.

My stay

The place was nice except the air conditioner (window unit) was off and it took 2 days for the place to finally cool off. There was also a strong mildew smell in the studio that would not go away. Other than that the bed was comfortable.

Good place to stay on the beach.

The room was very nice and comfortable and the property is right on the beach. However, I did have some trouble accessing the door, and called the property manager. for assistance. Unfortunately it took her several hours to return my call. In the mean time I did finally get in the door. And all was well after that. Also had to follow up to get the access code to the gate to the beach. I would stay there again.

Mini getaway

It is in such a nice area. Nice for a getaway with the family. I would be a bit more descriptive of the location of the condo in the instructions, being that it is not oceanfront as advertised. The bed is super uncomfortable. Not enough pillows for four people. I went to the office and grabbed the code for the beach gate as it wasn't in the room. Parking pass not in room. Wifi password provided in the instructions was not correct... Plunger in bathroom is too small for the toilet. I would recommend purchasing a plunger with a longer handle. No idea where the trash needed to be disposed of. Should maybe add that to the instructions. We gathered bathroom and regular trash and put together in one bag and left next to the pile of towels and sheets used.

Our 43rd wedding anniversary.

The place was not bad. But refrigerator made horrible noise all night night long. It sounded like it was going on the brink. Froze did in frig. Also air conditioner went off and on all night. Every few min. Very noisy to sleep for sure. You should turn tv the other way do you could watch it in bed as well. But our stay was ok. We were gone most of the time

A Great Beach Getaway

This property was exactly as described. Check in was super easy and the studio apartment was clean and up to date. It is not Beach front which is exactly as the description said but as someone who has been to Crescent Beach many times it is Beach side which is perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

I made 2 phone calls to Annette and never heard from her just got a text saying she would call later. I also sent her a message and did not get an answer. I. Led property mgmt co and spoke to a gentleman and he said he would reach out to owner and have her call me and he said he would check back w/me in 10 minutes and I never heard back from him. I ended up going to The Lodge office and they helped me with what I needed. Just disappointing to me.

Not Oceanfront

As a previous reviewer has stated, this property is NOT oceanfront. It was fine for my needs but I certainly envisioned being able to sit on a balcony and face the ocean. If you look closely at the pictures, you will see this unit faces a parking lot. Otherwise, the unit is exactly as described. It was clean and the manager promptly responded to a coffeepot malfunction so I could have my coffee! Much appreciated.
