Althea's Beach House is the ideal location for your next getaway just steps to the beach and close enough to hear the waves crashing! This three story home features over 3000 square feet of space featuring an updated kitchen, beautiful decor, several balconies plus a tranquil pathway to the nearby beach boardwalk. Once inside the house you many never want to leave as there is never a dull moment! From sitting on your balcony watching the sun or moon rise over the horizon or if you are lucky enough, a rocket launch, to relaxing in the living area with an electric fireplace, possibly strolling the beach at sunset, or the excitement of riding the waves just outside your door. This home really has it all. Electric Car Charger (240 volt-Nema 14-50 outlet), second refrigerator/freezer in garage, hair dryer, iron, keurig coffee pot (plus 1 large/1 small coffee pot), and even a beach wagon

1st Floor - garage, laundry room, bedroom #4 (full over full bunk bed with twin trundle)

2nd Floor - entrance, foyer, dining areas, kitchen, living rooms, bedroom #2 (queen bed & balcony), bathroom #2, balcony with ocean views

3rd Floor - master suite (king bed, ensuite bath, large walk-in closet, sitting area with ocean views), bedroom #3 (full bed), bathroom #3

Parking - 2 spaces in garage, at least 4 in driveway

Beach access - there is a pathway through the backyard that leads directly to a parking area and a boardwalk to the beach. Drive on access is located just one block north of the home (4x4 recommended and sometimes required).

- The home has many stairs and no elevator.

- All bedrooms have TVs.

- There is a loft setup as an office/game room on the third floor between both bedrooms. It has ocean views, a desk & chair, and a card table.

- Must be at least 25 years or older to rent. Primary renter must be present during entire stay.

- Pets are strictly prohibited.

Unique Home at Butler Beach

This is a wonderful Mediterranean style home that is well maintained with great furnishings. Plenty of parking and great views from multiple outdoor patios. Personally we will probably not rent the house again, because Sunshine Realty has a general policy that the homes they handle do not offer any type of outdoor grill because they want you to rent one. Give me a break, I spend several thousands of dollars to rent a place then you want me to spend another $100.00 bucks on a grill.

Fantastic place to stay

We had a great time for a month in this house. The location could not be better! 100 yards to the ocean, a huge beach with powdery sand, no traffic, just a lovely time. We could not find the garage opener and the realtor had one there 2 days later! We loved checking on the tortoises every day. We highly recommend Althea’s beach house and Sunshine realty.

Such a fun house!!!!

This house was clean and had everything you could think of needing. It has so much room!! My whole family had a blast. Only downsides: I wish the patio off the master had air because the views from there were amazing! -shower in master didn’t have hot water 😭 The house was great for my family HOWEVER I do not suggest this house with guests with younger children (under 2) or older guests as there are many many turning stairs.

House was just as advertised. Great beach access. Neighbors are very friendly. Very close, within a two mile radius, to great restaurants. Very quite at night so you can enjoy the many great balconies.

Amazing!

Althea's House far exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious, clean and well-set up with kitchen and bathroom items, and even a few toys in the garage. We cooked some meals in the house and went out for a few with no issues finding cookware, or finding restaurants nearby. Downtown St Augustine is ~15 min away and easy to get to. This is basically a beach house - in less than 5 min you are on the sand. The beach itself was wonderful - even when crowded, everyone was still very spread out and we had lots of space. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to rent this house again next year.

Lovely property in great location

This was an excellent choice for a girl's getaway for 4 of us in St. Augustine. We enjoyed the very close proximity to the beach, the beautiful, unobstructed view of the Atlantic, easy access off the main road and short drive to downtown St. Augustine. The home was well furnished, there was a bedroom for each of us, and ample room to prepare meals and just relax. This house can accommodate a much larger group, but was a real treat for us. If given the opportunity, I would stay there again!

We had 3 generations come stay. The main floor bedroom was perfect for "meme". The views are great and the house has a great location. Short walk and you are on the Beach! Very clean and well appointed.
