Place is awesome at a great price! No ocean view from the bedrooms, but everything else made up for it! Would most definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Perfect for Family Trip!

My family and friends had a wonderful time spending the week here at the Abalone Cove. Great views and excellent amenities - big enough for our group with three kids.

Wonderful stay in the cove

My young family and I had a wonderful stay at abalone cove. The home is whimsical, clean, and comfortable.i appreciated the built in safety gates at the top of both stairs and games for the whole family.

An amazing place to stay! Very clean and functional for our time. Great view of the ocean. Wildlife was everywhere in the neighborhood with deer, foxes, pelicans, and seals. The place was within walking distance to cafes and local brewery.

Perfect coastal getaway

This was a perfect coastal getaway for our family. This was our home base for 2 days and we explored the Redwoods and the Shelter Cove area. House was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. View is fabulous!

Birthday Getaway

The property was amazing, with plenty of room for three couples and a variety of activities from exploring the town to lounging around the house. The house would be gorgeous in any weather. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Home

Very unique and cozy place. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful cabin with lots of unique details! A soaking tub downstairs, and hot tub with a view!There a nice little area next to the house for your dog to play. Nice walkable area. Beautiful sunsets from the deck.

We really enjoyed the house — it had a beautiful view, an excellent BBQ, a cozy night by the outdoor fire, and the jacuzzi was amazing! We brought our dog and he was so happy. We even did our baby’s gender reveal there, and it was incredible. I would definitely stay here again.The house was very clean, with board games, a speaker to play music, and a fully equipped kitchen. The coffee machine was excellent — everything was just perfect and spotless. There were even some beautiful bikes in the garage, perfect for taking a ride around Shelter Cove, which is such a gorgeous area.

Beautiful and relaxing

The property has an amazing view of the ocean. Very clean. Beautiful in side. Our family loved the Tiki toss game. We had such a relaxing and fun time. We will definitely stay here again.

The property was amazing. Beautiful house and amazing location. The house hand plenty of space. Kitchen was great with plenty of kitchen supplies. The view is great even with the fog. The only down side is the hot tub did not work during our stay. The owner was having it looked at once we left. The owner was very quick to respond and very friendly.

Clean & comfy home

This house was really wonderful. The decor is very tasteful. The whole place was SUPER clean. The only downside was there is no hot tub as listed which was a big bummer. The host was very prompt to respond, and check in was a breeze. I would recommend if you are ok with no hot tub. :) Thank you!

Highly Recommend!

We had such a great stay at this home! It has everything you need, is extremely comfortable, and great location. We stayed here for a week while a few of us hiked the Lost Coast trail. The grandparents stayed at the house with the kids while we hiked. The kids LOVED it. The top floor “captains” room was perfect for them. There were also a ton of games for them to play, and they loved looking out the telescope and using the binoculars. They loved the hot tub and the great view. From the house you can also walk to the little coffee shop places or the brewery. The kitchen was fully stocked for everything you need. The TV and living room area was super cozy for movie nights or reading/relaxing. I can’t say enough good things. It was perfect! We came back after a few days on the trail and enjoyed a final night hanging out here. I highly recommend!

Great place for families with adult children

I think this is a rare find. There are three bedroom with queen/king beds (rather than rooms with twin beds) on three different floors. This was perfect for our family with three adult couples and one three year old. The toys were a hit with our 3 year old. There are even discreet safety gates on the stairs.The main floor has plenty of room and the kitchen works well. The house is spacious. The house looks newly remodeled and really works well! The views are lovely, the main living space is sunny and we enjoyed the sunsets and view of the sea in the hottub. All the bedrooms are a good size which we appreciated. For once there is no "bad bedroom" that someone gets stuck with. All the bedrooms are lovely. The house has plenty of towels and generous supplies which lately has been an issue in other rentals. The owner is the most responsive owner we have ever had, We highly recommend this home. It was really a lovely space to spend time with our family.
