Nothing like what you are shown

First off pulling off the main road the first thing you see is a home surrounded by chickens, turkeys, etc… not what I was expecting but your next obstacle is the road was terribly washed out huge ruts in the road hope you have a 4 wheel drive… lastly we ended up not even being able to stay there ( a blessing) we get to the house and there are people already staying there!! Yes we were given a refund but no help in finding somewhere else to stay took us till the next night to get another cabin luckily we were able to get the last hotel room for the first night! And it seemed there was no compassion from the management for what had happened. Definitely disappointed all the way around.

Quaint but Rough

The cabin overall is very spacious, quaint, and has a gorgeous view. But there was an infestation of beetles upon our arrival and it took a day to get someone to come out and handle it, and ultimately we found a spray to eliminate them, not the property mgr. Regarding communication: Several emails during our stay were unanswered. Regarding Cleanliness: The bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been by a long shot. The bedroom carpets need steam cleaned. The outdoor space was also dirty and worn. The other item we were upset about was the fireplace didn't work the last week of October - a cabin in the mountains without the ability to have a fire when it is 40 degrees at night? With some TLC, this place is a gem, but we were disappointed. We did let the property manager know and provided photos to back up our legitimate complaints, but we had to deal with the condition of the place during our stay. I hope they do take care of the things we told them about.

Smokey mountains summer stay

Our family enjoyed our stay in TN this summer. The house was a great location for us to explore the Smokeys, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. The home was the perfect size for our multi-generation family group of 11. We were even all able to sit at the dinner table together! We enjoyed the quiet back patio and beautiful view after our days of exploring.

We had a wonderful stay! The views from the back of the property are incomparable. The hot tub is lovely. It is a good midway point between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Beautiful property and fantastic location

This home has it all and had the perfect layout for our larger family vacation. The property is newer to VRBO and has some hiccups but the host was very responsive and eager to fix any issues that we had. I would recommend this property and this host and would 10/10 stay there again.

Beautiful home and property

We are a 3 generation group and this home was perfect for all! It was close to both major parkways and all attractions. The hosts have taken great care of making guests comfortable and beyond! We have visited this area multiple times throughout the years and this is by far the most beautiful property we have rented. Thank you!

Picture-Perfect Getaway

This property did not disappoint! We were so looking forward to disconnecting and recharging and staying here did the trick. There were more amenities than we had the chance to take advantage of but we'd love to come back and bring some more family or friends with us. My wife and I loved enjoying some coffee looking at the mountains on the deck before the kids got up. Our son loved the bunk beds! Overall the location and design aesthetic was a cut above the other properties we were considering in the area, and well worth it!

Awesome Location / Beautiful Home

The inside of the home was perfect for our family of 12! Plenty of rooms; bathrooms; view was amazing! The kitchen was the main hub of the home and was well stocked with dishes; utinsels; pots; pans; etc. We loved our stay and would recommend this home to everyone. (Side comments beyond the general recommendation) - The screened in patio floor was rotted and dangerous (repairs are ongoing) - Fireplace in the living room did not work. - Many of the exterior doors were sticky and hard to open and some of the downstairs doors would not allow you to use the bolt locks. -Staying for a week...we were not told to request a "mid-week" trash pick up...so the outside trash cage filled up fast and we had to cram the trash bags around the trash cans and even left 2 bags on the top of the cage the morning we left. - We requested a few more towels than were originally provided for a week and you provided them quickly...thanks! - Finally, only because you boast of providing a 5 star stay, the outside of the home needs attention! The bushes are overgrown; flower beds need new mulch and are full of weeds. Side of the home with steps to the apartment are overrun with weeds...very unattractive! On the walkup to the front door, it would be nice to have a sidewalk. With that being said, we had a fantastic time in the home! I believe that we left the home in great shape, even took pictures the morning we left if you want to see them! I believe our $300.00 deposit can be refunded.
