Nice ranch home in the country
My wife, kids (17 and 22) and dog needed a place near the Smokies and Dollywood for a week of activities, but also wanted an escape from the tourist mayhem. The home provided a good location to access everything. We could get most places via back roads and avoid the mainstream traffic on the GSM Parkway. The winding country roads give you a beautiful view of the natural beauty of eastern Tennessee. The house itself provided comfortable sleeping and good bathroom arrangements for our family, and a fenced in yard for our dog. We cooked many of our meals at the house and the kitchen, cookware, etc provided what we needed. To stock up, it is a 15-20 minute drive to the grocery stores in either Sevierville or Seymour. We also used the propane grill and grilling tools provided which are very nice. We all liked the kitchen and large dining table with comfy chairs. One of the reasons we selected this property was the hot tub. It was clean and kept the right temperature. Unfortunately, the jets were not all working. We all had fun with the game room, and the WiFi and large screen TVs were nice for watching movies.The driveway is very steep at the bottom and I dragged my bumper a couple of times getting in and out. We learned that staying to the side of the driveway farthest away from the mailbox offers the best chance to avoid dragging. Overall, we give the host top marks and would recommend this property.
