Welcome to Chubby Bear Lodge! This beautiful 2690 sqft 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin is located in the picturesque Wear’s Valley. Chubby Bear has parking for 3 vehicles, fire pit, home theater room, and a game room!

This is a strictly NON-Pet Friendly Cabin. No exceptions.

Main Level:
The entry level features a kitchen, living area, one bedroom, and one bathroom.
The living area offers an electric fireplace, and flat screen HDTV, and a sleeper sofa for added sleeping accommodations perfect for enjoying your favorite tv show! The kitchen comes fully equipped to whip up a treat that everyone can enjoy and the dining table has seating for 4 and 2 more at the bar.

Step back inside and retreat to the bedroom on this level offering a king bed, HDTV, and a jack-n-jill bathroom (tub/shower) that connects with the kitchen.

After a day of exploration, step out onto the deck where you can relax in the soothing Hot Tub, or enjoy the view from the porch swing. Right around the corner enjoy your feast in the screened-in portion of the deck complete with a picnic table.

Upper Level:
Travel to the upper level loft to find an (open) king bedroom, HDTV, and an attached bathroom (tub/shower). Be sure to find an opponent for a rousing game on the foosball table.

Lower Level:
Step down into the lower level where there is something for everyone and the fun is just beginning. The lower level offers a home theater room complete with WiiU gaming system and a sleeper sofa. Challenge your high score on the arcade machine or play against your friends on the air hockey table. There is even a canvas teepee tent for kids for that 1st “camping experience”.

When everyone is tuckered out for the day retreat to one of the 2 bedrooms on this level. One offering a king sized bed, HDTV, and a jack-n-jill bathroom (tub/shower) that connects with the “kids camping area” so you can check on the little ones. While the other bedroom offers 3 twin sized beds.

The Yard:
Just outside you will find a fire pit area and the charcoal grill.
Bring out your inner master chef on the charcoal grill, or gather around the fire pit with friends and family and start making memories that you will never forget! Don’t forget the marshmallows!

The name of this cabin fits!!!

We loved this quite cabin, the location was perfect for us. Great little town below in the valley. After driving all around looking for wildlife in the National Park we came home and did in fact see a FEW CHUBBY Bears in our yard!! We felt safe and comfortable and very private in the cabin. The beds were amazing. Parking is a little tight if you have a longer vehicle.

Amazing views and location

This cabin was great for a little getaway with a few close friends. Our favorite parts were the views, the jacuzzi, the game Room, the fire pit and big bright windows and the big terrace. We also love the location, right down the street is an awesome moonshine and wine tasting and everything you need from restaurants to small groceries. It’s also really close to Pigeon Forge and about 40 min from Gatlinburg. Some small cons: some garbage around the fire pit area, slight difficulty in communicating with management (was told we can check in early if cabin was ready but when it was ready early we’re told we had to wait till check-in; there was a previous review stating the fireplace wasn’t working, therefore I emailed prior to check in to make sure it had been fixed. I was told it was, but it had not. Therefore had to email again and they sent someone to fix it and we didn’t have a working fireplace for the first day and a half. But was so glad they were able to fix it—it was very nice once it was working; For check out I was also not able to reach them via phone). Overall, the pros outweighed the cons and we loved our stay. We would for sure come back and would recommend to others

The property was very nice, but the service from the management company was horrible. Three days into our stay the fire place broke and a bar stool that my mother in law was sitting on also broke, causing her to fall and get ahuge bruise. After calling every day, management finally sent someone out to fix the fireplace and he said he could not do anything about it. The next day there was a snow storm and the power went out for about 36 hours.

lovely cabin

The cabin is perfectly represented in the photos. Lovely house, great porch, fun game room, great neighborhood and easy access. Our only complaint was that the kitchen didn't provide a lot of cooking tools and hardly any cleaning supplies for the time we were renting.
