Our stay at A River Runs Through It was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. It was convenient to all the activities we wanted to do. The kids loved the gameroom and theater room. It was also great that the pool and playground we so close to the house.

Perfect for families or large groups

This place is filled with fun activities for kids and adults of all ages. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. You’ll love the special touches and comfort of the bedrooms. The front porch is a perfect place to enjoy your morning brew with a beautiful view of the landscaped yard. There was a bit more traffic than we expected and the cabin is right next to the road but you don’t hear it much once you’re inside the cabin. It was wonderful to have access so close to the playground and pool, even though the pool wasn’t open yet. If that’s a hot button for you, A River Runs Through It will be a perfect option for you.Pigeon Forge is super close and all of the activities that go along with visiting the Great Smoky Mountains is within a short drive. After a long day of mountain fun, we really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and just chilling in the beautifully designed cabin. Comfy furniture and large tables for family dinners were perfect for our family time together.I highly recommend Robin and Greg’s home !

Beautiful house!

This house has everything you need. Me and my family Had a great time . The house is very spacious , loved the game room, very clean. great location. The guest house was great for those who wanted to get away for some peace and quiet we hade 18 from infants to 50ish. The beds are very comfortable. The only thing id say would make it better is hotter water and a larger hot water heater . Some upgrades are needed like the master fireplace and the one in the theater they dont work.and some other small things. We had a problem and they were quick to respond. . We would definitely stay again

Perfect location

We could not be more pleased about our stay at A River Runs Through It. The house is spacious and lovely - and the location is even better! We loved that the house is so close to the community pool and basketball court. And then there are so many things to do in the area - from museums to amusement parks to wine and moonshine tasting to Smoky Mtn Natl Park - there is something for everyone within a 30 minute drive.

Family vacation

The pool was very close to the property which was great - the grandkids really enjoyed the pool. The game room was an added bonus for the grandkids! The visitor (bear) added quite a bit of excitement to our stay. Watching the sunrise from the front porch was amazing. We had a fantastic time as a family. Thank you!

Perfect location

This cabin was in the perfect location to everything! We enjoyed going out exploring in the busy Pigeon Forge area and then coming back to the quit cabin to relax and play games. The pool table, arcade games, hot tub, and location to the community pool kept everyone occupied daily. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we loved that the towels and linens were provided. The one thing I wasn't a fan of was the trash situation. Since we stayed for two weeks we had to contact Robin to have housekeeping come get trash. Later the last week we took trash to the high school and drop it off and I'll forever be grateful for the trash trucks we have at home. We hope to return one day since we were not able to cross off everything on our list of things we wanted to do.

2023 December Family Trip

This property was one of the prettiest, inside and out, I’ve stayed in and suited our family well. The grandchildren (aged 10-21) spent a lot of time together in the loft playing various games together. It was nice because the parents and grandparents could hear them and monitor them easily from the main common area while doing our own visiting or preparing meals and treats in the kitchen. The hot tub was also a big hit! The guest house was perfect for our very introverted teen and provided a quiet place to recharge when the social meter got low. The resort was nice to be able to walk around and the hiking trail was lovely as well-no need to pile in the car every time you wanted a little outdoor time. Lastly, the location was very accessible with lots of easy parking and the cabins were spread out enough that you felt everything was private without being isolated.

Incredibly Amazing

Robin is an amazing host who offers a dream getaway for the entire family/friends. Our Christmas reunion was extra special with many surprises. The roomy kitchen was a blessing, the games and arcade and pool & Fuze Ball was Great!! The movie theatre was cozy and alot of room. The master bedroom in the lil cottage was just right. Thank you for making our Holiday extra special. I highly recommend this experience. All my family loved it, including the children!

Wedding of the year.

We had a small wedding at this cabin. I could not have ask for a better place. So beautiful. The master bedroom and bridal suit was more than i could have ask for as far a class and comfort! The beds were so dreamy. The whole home was so sureal.The grounds werent as level as we thought from pictures but we made it work. There is plenty of beauty to work with. We were sad to leave. This cabin holds a special place in our heart. We will be back! Thank you for the memories!

Fantastic week in the mountains

The property is beautiful and exactly as advertised. There was some minor cleaning ( floors didn't appear vacuumed or scrubbed) but otherwise very clean. We were a back to back guest after a holiday weekend so I'm guessing the cleaners may have been a bit rushed. There was a vacuum on site and we just went ahead and did a quick vacuum, which we didn't mind. Robin was a fantastic host and super responsive to everything we needed. Bed were comfortable with great clean linens, definitely enough space for everyone, so much to do and so well thought out. I would absolutely stay again.

Stunning cabin

We chose this cabin to have my daughter’s wedding and it did not disappoint. The landscaping was beautiful. The cabin itself was very pretty. We did feel it was a bit too cluttered with decor. The pool and hot tub were nice. We had the wedding right by the walk over bridge and it was perfect!

Family reunion

This is a beautiful property with tons of room. Great location with nearby pool, playground, and picnic area. The kids loved playing in the creek! It was close to all area attractions and far enough out to see wildlife early in the morning and late evening. I would highly recommend this rental house to large families!

Wonderful Family Christmas at "A River Runs Through It"

This vacation property was exactly as it was advertised. Very comfortable for 6 Adults / 6 Children. Very well furnished and even completely decorated for Christmas, right down to the Christmas Tree! Due to extreme weather we needed to contact the owners for additional support. They were fantastic in helping us in every way!!

We had a great stay at this location. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of beds and super comfortable! Only a 7 min drive to Pigeon Forge. Great for a family of all ages plenty to do outside and inside.
