Beautiful home with a great location. Offered everything we needed for a quick, getaway birthday weekend. Beds were comfortable.

Wayne Mansion Main House

We enjoyed our stay, we got in a little later than we anticipated. We couldn't figure out where to park so we had to contact the property manager, the parking behind the gate will not accommodate full sized vehicles. We drive a Yukon and there is no way it would fit in there, my husband went to open the house and almost tripped over a mop and bucket that were left on the porch, the door was difficult to shut and lock from the outside. The home was absolutely beautiful and it was so neat to stay in such a historic place, once we got inside and went upstairs to pick our rooms out there was a roach in the bathroom connected to the room to the right of the stairs. The AC vent in the room my husband and I chose was about to fall out and there was a sticky residue on the night stand. In my mother in laws room there was a cigarette butt on the floor. I went to wash my hands in the kitchen after eating breakfast and the soap dispenser on the kitchen sink had no soap and dead gnats came gushing out with what looked like water, there were gnats/fruit flies in the empty trash can in the kitchen. The only other concerning thing was there is an apartment that is also rented out below the house and if you don't keep the door locked beneath the stairs that person could just walk up in the house. But all in all it was a beautiful house and we did enjoy our stay, not far at all from downtown savannah but we chose not to walk in this hot/humid weather.
