Short stay
I appreciated the communication of the host and they were responsive when we had a question about parking. Unfortunately the stay is at the corner of two busy streets and in a gentrifying part of Savannah. We heard at least 6 different emergency vehicles pass at different times during the night and some of the police traffic stops were close to the house. The house has nice and new amenities. The bathrooms were nice. Unfortunately, two of the beds seemed to have the mattresses upside down and were very uncomfortable to sleep on because the springs were palpable at the surface of the mattress. The floors were very dirty and everyone needed to keep their shoes on so we didn't have black feet. I question if there is mold in the apartment because it triggered a lot of coughing for my 20 month old. I would definitely not recommend staying here if you have asthma or allergies. The rooms all had individual keypads with locking doors which adds a layer of security but is also a little weird when you are sharing a space. Very limited number of plates and forks. Constantly was having to be careful using the hallway with my infant so he didn't fall down the stairs. We questioned leaving and rebooking a hotel but since it was only two nights we stuck it out. Not walkable to downtown but is a very short drive.
