Not worth staying in this hotel not clean look for a cleaner location

Smelly, run-down slum of a room. Checked out asap and went to a different hotel.

Beds very comfortable. Would have given five overall because of value but some maintenance was needed in our room. Nothing that makes it less comfortable tho.

There was a roach in our room. The rug was sticky and the shower dripped the whole night.

Room was clean. They forgot to mention that if your cell phone and the card key are right by each other your cell phone will D activate your room key

There was nothing fancy about it but it was a clean room, good bed, nice staff, and I felt safe alone. Also, only took me about 15 minutes to get to the beach.

This is the worst place we ever stayed! The room had mold growing in it, only 2 light bulbs in all the lights in the room, very stained carpet, broken shower - fixed with a PVC pipe!

Stayed at Days Inn on Clark Rd. Sarasota as it was off I-75 and between downtown and Englewood where I had a conference and event to attend. The room was nice. I had asked for wake up calls for both days that I was there and never received the calls. Otherwise, the hotel was a basic Days Inn older edition.

The hotel is older and updates are needed. This is a hotel that just needs a complete overhaul.

We like the central location and the buffet breakfast . Simple walk outside and one can get a meal at Burger King/ or to 7-11 and get other foods and gasoline without having to conquer a busy Clark Road .

Very good motel with clean rooms and good service. Enjoyable stay.

staid there first time as our usual hotel was sold out. Stay was good, friendly staff, location wasn't bad, only it really needs a face-lift and a little better breakfast choices.

We should have paid more attention to the rating. We thought that since we were paying $144 with tax we would get something better. Usually places like this one are under $100. If it was we wouldn't complain. The water pressure was low, towels thin, bed skirt dirty, carpeting tacky, and worst of all visible mold in bathroom. Poor quality breakfast.

I came to Sarasota to visit my parents. The location and staff was great. The bed was very very comfortable. The décor is a little weird to me, the colors and the bold stripe carpet really fight each other. The back of the bathroom door was really dirty with fingerprints, there was a large brush left between the bed and night stand from previous visitors that the cleaning staff missed. Biggest problem was the water faucet in the shower, very difficult to turn, some may not be able to do it. Even so, I would stay again if necessary.

Staff was excellent. $120/ night is too much for days inn. Motel 6 actually have better towels and washcloths these days. Working during peak tourist season so I do understand but there should be better rates for business personnel.

Nice, clean hotel with good service. Breakfast was OK as well. We would stay there again when in the Sarasota area.

It is fine for the money paid. Wish it had a workout room.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel had all the amenities we needed. The beach was close. It was a nice hotel for the price.

Not too far from the beach, easy access to highway. Staff was nice, everything is standard.

Nothing special. Clean, comfortable. Room wasn't ready until 5:30 pm. Breakfast weak - toast, cereal, waffle, juice machine, tea and coffee. Could use an upgrade. Pool clean but small. Hot tub not working, most likely for a long time. Wouldn't count on repairs. Better room and breakfast probably available elsewhere. Good enough for last minute reservation.
