With my third stay at this wonderful Montecito home, we again fell in love with the house, the views and the tranquility. We began the day by the pool and ended each night in the hot tub looking out to the ocean and the Channel Islands. In between, with easy access to hiking trails and Montecito, we exercised, drank coffee and dined. I cannot imagine a better setting for spending New Year's with my family. Thanks again to our wonderful hosts who ensured all our needs were met.

Paradise!

This property was amazing! The views and accommodations did not disappoint. It felt like we were at a gorgeous resort without the people-who doesn’t love that! We didn’t want to leave and spent most days enjoying the pool and going hiking. There were so many trails nearby. In the evening we bbqd and made s’mores. There were a few glitches and there is a bit of a learning curve with the tech and figuring out how to work everything but the hosts guided us through. It was truly a fantastic vacation. We hope to return next year!

Santa Barbara Getaway

Amazing property and grounds with inviting pool and stunning views. Enjoyed cheese & fruit board and Chardonnay waiting for us upon arrival. Tons of room for the 7 of us. Plenty of towels, paper products, shampoo etc make your stay very comfortable. Host and property manager responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Montecito Property

Spent a week with family at this property in Montecito. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is really well done. The house allowed people to have their own space as it is really divided into three separate units. Minor constructive comments would be that it is very bright with no blackout shades and in one unit no shades at all. And then given the beautiful grounds, you are bound to have some insect and critter lizard issues here and there. But overall it was a great stay and the best thing might be that they didn’t tell us to pay a cleaning fee but then spend an hour cleaning before we left. Refreshing for once with a vacation rental. Would stay again!

Montecito escape

This was our second visit to this incredible property. We were here about the same time last year. We loved it so much we came back and will probably be back again. Looking on line the pictures are beautiful but still don't do it justice. Located on a mountain side totally secluded and over looking the pacific ocean is hard to beat. We like hiking and there are trails all over the place. If a hiking trail is not your thing you can just walk right out your front door walk the streets up and down the hills and view all the unbelievable homes dotted around the mountain side. The property has everything you would ever need for your stay including a beautiful pool and hot tub to equal most any luxury resort. This is a great stay. We recommend go while you can. The owners are great as well. Ken

Cali spring break 2024!

Wonderful Place

This is a totally unique location, sitting on the hillside with wonderful views of the ocean but little perception of any other houses in the neighborhood. There are many little things that are missing and some odd quirks (no towel racks or coat racks, wi-fi a little inconsistent in the main house, shower door missing in the 'gym', but those things are more than made up for by the outstanding bedding, towels, and lighting. The owners don't note it online but the birds are absolutely wonderful on the hillside (15-20 species every morning). The pool and spa is great, beyond expectations. We loved it!

Bring an eye mask

This property has the potential to be amazing, but fell a bit short, Non working blinds in master bathroom as well as a few spiders and no blow dryer. Second bedroom in main house lacked a blind on the patio door. Guest house has a glass ceiling with no light blocking. Full moon acted as a spotlight and had to move heads to foot of bed. If you need to sleep, a sleep mask would be helpful. Stove knobs are difficult to see. TV with AppleTV in guest house would not operate correctly and had to move device to main house where lack of blinds made viewing difficult. Garbage cans were mostly full when we arrived with 4 people for 6 nights. Pool house does not have proper locks and my daughter was afraid to sleep in there. Dog hair on several couches and fireplace in main house did not work. The home description says fireplace in main house. Outdoor couches never dried and had several stains. Would be very helpful to have some form of instruction book for this home as remotes and light switches took quite a bit of time to figure out. For the cost of this property, I would fully expect every bathroom to have a blow dryer. The VIEWS are spectacular and most parts of this home are quite impressive. We did love our time there, but again, for the price, I just expect more. Little things matter when the cost is high. Would highly recommend sleep masks for future guests.

Montecito Modern and Fabulous

We enjoyed our stay in Montecito, the guest houses were just right for a couple and a small dog. The main house from what we saw was also fabulous. Location has beautiful views and a great pool area. You definitely feel like a star. Thanks!

Truly Exceptional Montecito Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is even better than the pictures indicate. Main house with excellent outdoor space, a great kitchen and killer views, then two cool pool houses each with their own sleeping areas around a fantastic pool. Communication was great, and John the caretaker was superb. Could not recommend more highly.

Experiential Estate

The estate met all of our groups needs. The owners were always available if needed. The property is extremely private and offers many areas to entertain your group or just relax with all the amazing views. Great hiking trails nearby as well. The property has everything you need for a small group or larger group. Truly a one of a kind and extremely unique property to be able to access via VRBO (there is really no other listing like it in the area). Enjoy it!

Montecito Vacation

Beautiful home with an amazing perch overlooking Montecito and the Pacific Ocean. Separate quarters for friends and family, with many gathering areas. The location was ideal. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. We loved the drive up to the property through the many gated estates that surround the property. The house was well kept, and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Owners were very responsive….Will be back and stay again.

My family and I enjoyed 10 fantastic days in this property with a large pool, well placed hot tub and sweeping views of the ocean and mountains. Guest houses provide ample space and separation for larger family or friends. Buena Vista Trail is close by and provides sweeping views of the whole area and is a manageable hike for families. It was a great vacation!

One of a kind

We had such a great stay at this property. The property is the perfect location, just minutes from the upper village stores where you have all the necessary shops (+some!) as well as a short trip down the hill to Coast Village.. central to the luxuries of Montecito, shops and dining options while providing absolute the peaceful serenity of being on the hill above all the commotion. The owners are hands on and extremely responsive, in addition to being kind and concious of the guests privacy. The hiking trail system that is Aprox 300 feet from the gated driveway provides you with what seems like an endless, well maintained trail system. We originally planned for a few night stay, which quickly turned into a couple weeks stay! Can’t wait to get back.
