Sage House in the Hill Country

Sage House is a countryside 2-story guest house with all the comforts of home, including a gym and bonus queen sized wall-cubby bed (kids love it) in the upstairs loft. Enjoy coffee on the wraparound porch or dine in the treetops on the balcony. The mattresses are comfy (not too hard, not too soft), and the bedding is soft. Although the only dining table is on the upstairs balcony, we do have nesting tables available for cozy meals in the living room. There is a desk and chair on the second floor.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at Sage House. Paige was very responsive to messages, the setting was beautiful, and the house was the perfect size for our family of four to spread out in. We plan to stay again when we're back in San Marcos to visit our student at Texas State, which is roughly 15 minutes away.

Lovely home in San Marcos. It was great to be close to city center, but far enough to see all the stars and enjoy the sounds of nature. Hosts responded quickly to all questions. I would stay here again!
