Great new remodel of bathroom with excellent shower.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in late and our a/c didn't work. She immediately tried to help and moved us to another room.

The family suite smells when we entered, the carpet is obviously dirty, pillows are tiny, one with stained pillow case.

It was a decent hotel. Didnt care for the pool, it is badly placed as it doesn't get much sun. The rooms were okay, beds were comfy the pillows weren't the best. Their website says they have cribs available but they do not.

Staff was friendly, parking abundant and check in quick and smooth. Property is in bad need of an update. My suite was plenty big but walls, tile, bedding need attention. No USB ports and my shower curtain was missing. My suite was on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator.

It was walking distance to restaurants. The room was very room though the furnishings looked old and worn. Stains on curtains and carpet

The place is a complete dump.

When we arrived at 1 am, there was no one at the front desk, so we called the number given for service. A young woman came from her room and helped us. She gave us key cards to our room, and when we opened the door to our room, immediately saw that the room had not been cleaned or bed sheets changed!!! We were told if our next room was not satisfactory we would get a refund. The next room we got was decent, clean. It smelled old, but not dirty. (the property is old, perhaps the carpets are old) The next day we left the Maid Service Requested sign on the outside of our door. After burying my father, an extremely difficult and emotional day, we came back to our room and found that there had been no room service!! No cleaning, no fresh towels, nothing. We called the number for service and my husband had to get extremely firm with the person on duty to get him to bring some fresh towels and toilet paper to us. These were left on the floor outside our room. In addition, we had to report to him that someone was hammering in a room next to or above our room, which by that time had kept us awake for at least 1 hour. Over all, Lamplighter Inn & Suites gets no points from us. I would not recommend this hotel.

When we showed up there was police in the parking lot, and our room was outdated and old with hair on the bed sheets and towels, the arm chair was disgusting and old my suggestion is to throw the chair away it is not serving any purpose no one would sit in it. The room is outdated and needs cleaning and repainting all items. AC unit made noises all night we thought it was leaking therefore didn’t sleep much. The staff was nice upon check in that was the only good part of our stay.

The property was located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and was also very walkable to the center of town and all the town services. Staff was very courteous. The rooms were large and well appointed. Cleaning was very good in the bathroom, and common floor area. Clean linen was provided on request. However, upholstered chair next to the bed was filthy and grimy, with armrests black and sticky with unknown substances that I choose not to even think about. The arm chair was faced in a corner that has never been cleaned for what appears to be more than months. No continental meal was provided in the morning except for cheap (less than fresh) packaged rolls and substandard coffee. The safe did not work, nor was it fixed when brought to the attention of the manager. Cleaning was not provided on a daily basis nor over the three days that we stayed on the site. Signs on premises required masks indoors, as expected. However, staff did not wear masks behind the counter.

At check-in I was greeted by the only apparent associate at the property. She was pleasant, but clearly overwhelmed. She seemed flustered, but took a deep breath and offered a friendly greeting when I approached the counter. My biggest concern with this property however was its lack of cleanliness of the room. This is only a shortlist: The in-room refrigerator was unplugged and when I opened it, it reeked of mildew. The coffee maker and microwave were also filthy, covered in dust and grim. Worst of all, the bathroom floor had not been cleaned... there was a fair amount of hair on the floor, and flakes of toilet paper on the floor between the base of the toilet and the wall. The bed was king size, but there were no appropriately sized fitted sheets. Rather, a full size flat sheet was used which did not fully cover the mattress, leaving the edges and sides of the mattress completely exposed. Generally, the furnishings in the room were very old and worn, and the paint was chipping in the corners from floor to ceiling. Unfortunately this was a no refund booking through Orbitz. Because I checked in late, was only staying one night, and had dinner plans, I didn't bother to bring any of this up to the already overwhelmed associate. My disappointment and blame lies with Orbitz. This property was listed as a 2.5 star with a list of amenities and photos. Unfortunately, none of descriptions on the Orbitz site were remotely accurate. Beware of outdated specs on Orbitz.

Quiet neighborhood. Restaurants close by. Convenient to downtown.

The pool area Close to town lots of places to eat right by the highway to get off and on

We had a problem with air but that put us in another room so that was real nice

Hotel is centralized to everything freeways downtown

When I checked in they gave me a room very far away from the door / elevator in a hidden corner of the building with an outside entrance. After I picked up my son, I asked to be moved - I was not comfortable with entering alone later in the evening. The new person at the desk was kind enough to move me - but I should never have been assigned that room in the first place.

This place is old. The layout of the suite was good for us, but that was the only redeeming factor. The breakfast was okay, but on the second day it was a disaster. They were out of everything and it was a mess. Our TV wasn't working, the guy basically shrugged and said he would discount the room (bit didn't). I wouldn't stay here again.

Close to Cal Poly. Lots of things in the room were broken and paint on the walls were a mess.

The front desk people went above and beyond helpful.
