Make sure you read the fine print.
It was a nice hotel, but I had a problem when checking in. The young guy up front was pretty rude or just having a bad day not sure, but when I when in to check in and I guess this hotel doesn't take debit cards when put a hold for the room. Aka $150 just in case you mess up the room. You have to pay with a "credit card".... I've been staying at different hotel for over 5 years and never ran into this problem. I drive over 5 hours to get to this town for business and now I can't sleep here... Then this guy said I could stay there but NOW I would have to paid "$500" cash. I'm like what... I called hotels.com about it since I booked the hotel though them. I was on the phone with him for some time and he did the best he could with this situation that was going on. I lucky had $500 cash on me at the time. I walked back in but I guess NOW this guy was leaving for the day and now he couldn't help me. So I had to wait for the next guy which was about 30 seconds. Not to long. I told this guy that the other guy said I could pay $500 cash since I didn't have a credit card and he said, "sorry we don't take cash". I said the other guy just said I could. He said he was not sure what was said but we don't take cash. I walked out not happy and now no were to sleep after driving all this way. I was in my van about to call hotel.com back. The other guy walk out and talked with me and made the situation right. Aka I had some were to sleep now and I didn't pay that. I wouldn't stay here again.
