We had no idea that the hotel was in the midst of renovations when we arrived. We entered in a side stairwell into a dark makeshift reception area. We were originally assigned a old un-renovated room supplied with free earplugs to block the construction noise. After mentioning our disappointment to the staff, we were moved to 'the last' newly renovated room. It matched the photo, but wasn't quite ready for use. The tub was still dirty from installation and some hardware wasn't yet fitted, a phone was swapped over while we were relaxing in the room. Access to rooms from the street concerned us as a security issue. Anyone could walk into a lift from the outside drop off area directly up to the rooms without ever passing through reception, or seeing a security guard. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were continually offered wine, even an entire new bottle after having already had several glasses. It seemed as though it was offered to compensate for the state of the hotel, but it just seemed inappropriate. It was a strange experience. The hotel's location was good.

Lobby closed due to renovations had to use side stairwell to a side room. Loud noises all day. Construction workers in and out. The hotel is not inexpensive. They should have told us at time of placing reservation.

After 20 or so years of staying at this hotel I still find it very satisfactory. The transition from Tuscan Inn to Noble House management has meant some minor changes. The evening wine reception was nice as were the bathrobes years ago, but I do not think their cancellation detracts from the overall experience.

we picked the Tuscan because we stayed there several months ago. We saw a couple of dogs in the lobby and noted that they allow dogs. They were VERY happy to see our 160 LB. puppy and made him feel very welcome. Staff was great. We will use their hotel when we go to SF in the future... Even if we don't bring Leonardo

we spent just one night . The room was nice and spacious with a great Italian restaurant this hotel is located only one block from fishermans wharf great location. I had booked a king room but some how they had me down for a queen. the front desk graciously took care of that and put me in a room with a king. If you like visiting San Francisco, you wont be disappointed by this hotel

Very convenient to Wharf and activity. Easy to get around the city and other areas!

Unable to get hot water, staff advised we run hot for 15 min, (took 30min), never got hot, just very warm. State is 4 yrs into a drought! Internet reception very poor, just basic cable TV.

Too many homeless who can be very loud, very noisy if your room faces road. Terrible smell inside (cleaning chemicals)

Great room, beds and staff. Clean and good food options.

Decent place but a little pricey for the amount of space.

Was not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was not far from the Wharf and transportation. Get familiar with the Muni (transit system) and you can get to the Golden Gate bridge and other places of interest. Must dress for the weather and be prepared to walk up hills. Parking is expensive and driving is murder.

Great location, walking distance to fisherman's wharf, shops and restaurants. Clean, quiet and beautiful lobby.

Nice hotel no issues, friendly staff and great location to warf. Room was clean we had 4 adults in the room a little tight but not cramped. We enjoyed our time in the hotel

Close walking distance to all sites , restaurants, parks and shopping.

The staff was wonderful!! Everyone was helpful and alway had a smile on their face. Our room was nice and updated. Location was great...our only negative was the hallways seemed to be worn and in need of a little update. This " little " thing would not stop us from staying there again. The bed was really comfy too!

Quietest hotel I have ever been in. Staff was awesome with great recommendations and help exploring the city. Concierge, doorman, front desk - all stellar! Clean, Comfortable, great location.

Within walking distance of everything fishermans wharf. The hotel staff was very kind, except for a little glitch with housekeeping, but the front desk immediately took care of it. The rooms are small but well furnished. The beds are comfortable. Coffee was great downstairs. The bell staff that double as doormen were the best!

Very good location. Room is as expected but bathroom is tiny.

Had a great experience at the hotel. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would've been a bit more equipment at the gym. All else was great from the food to the service.

It's was a great experience. The hotel is at the heart of San Francisco.
