This was our second year staying at Villa Point Loma for the month of January. We love the house and out door space. It has every thing we need to feel at home. While Mission Bay and the beaches are only a short way away, Liberty Station, Shelter Island and Harbor Island have wonderful restaurants and lots to see and do.

House was very nice! Clean, well stocked with all the supplies you’d need. We cooked full meals and had everything needed. Our grandson loved the small golf area for him to practice his swing and beat me at a game lol… neighborhood was very quiet, close to liberty station where we had dinner at Corvette Diner which was really neat. Overall, we will definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling to San Diego and will probably book here again in the future.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Villa Loma was such a great, comfortable, clean place to stay and in a perfect central location to things to do in San Diego. We loved the outdoor sitting areas, beds were very comfortable, house was clean and neat and provided a good amount of space. The kitchen was stocked with the necessities for cooking meals. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time, the interior was clean, super comfortable and spacious for 4 people. Though I wish there were more window curtains in the front as it was pretty exposed.

Good Location But Property Needs Upkeep

My husband and 15 year old son stayed here for four nights. Pros: Owner accommodated our request to check in early. Great neighborhood for walking around and taking in views of San Diego. Location is close to Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, etc. The house was just the right size for our family and had a comfortable living room. Cons: Outside of property was overrun with weeds and potted plants were dead. Outside garbage container was full. Inside we had problems with sugar ants, but the owner shipped us bait traps and spray. It helped but they were still an issue throughout our stay. Master bath shower handle was not fully attached to wall, making it hard to use. Toilet paper was so thin and there was no tissue and no wash cloths. There is a lot of air traffic noise (but we expected that). We enjoyed the location, but the property didn’t live up to our expectations based on the listing and reviews of other guests.

Amazing Stay

Phenomenal rental for our weekend stay. The house was clean and I can’t think of anything else you would need during your stay that the house didn’t already have. The area is very quiet and allows you to relax after long days, with the exception of a few planes flying over but you really only hear them if you don’t have the TV on or any music playing on the speaker in the living room. Great location as far as accessibility with Liberty Station just down the street and nightlife in Gaslamp or Pacific Beach roughly 15 minutes away depending on traffic. Check in and check out was very simple as well. Definitely would consider for another stay in the future!

Great Find

Although it had no prior VRBO reviews at the time I booked, I was pleasantly surprised how nice this rental was. The entire house is newly renovated, extremely clean, and situated within an attractive Point Loma residential neighborhood. Plenty of street parking for our two vehicles. Clear & simple access instructions. About a 3/4 mile walk down the hill to Liberty Station (lots of great restaurants, shops, Trader Joe's, parks, etc.). I would definitely stay here again on a future trip!
