This was a beautiful property in a perfect, central location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the decor was very specific to the location. My only 'complaints' are that there were no usb outlets available in the room and there was no minifridge for waters/drinks/leftovers. The pro's definitely outweighed the cons and I would stay here again, no questions asked!

We liked the style of the hotel, nice woodwork and detail.

Loved the history and located. Centrally located to be able to walk just about everywhere

Overall the property was nice. The checki in experience was good. We had a room 415 which evidently backed up to the elevator and this old fashion elevator was extremely noisy as if it was right in the room. So the night sleep was not good. we went to a party wanted to sleep in but the elevator was so noisy in the morning you couldn’t sleep in. I told the gentleman on the way out about the noisy room he said nothing at all simply said your room was pre-paid you’re all set. He didn’t even thank us for staying. Not a great experience.

Really liked the location of the property along with the cleanliness.

Beautiful restored 1800’s hotel in downtown San Diego right in historical Gaslamp District with shopping, restaurants, bars & music, only 4 blocks from Baseball Petco Park & convention center

Location... uniqueness... friendly staff... charming rooms.. not “cookie cutter” at all.

I loved the feel of history and the old photos and the antique qualities of the place!

Fast,easy checkin,clean ,friendly staff,close to dining,shops and the ballpark
