Not a fan of valet only parking, especially at $47/night. However, the room and the view were wonderful. Staff at check in were the best.

Our toilet was used prior to our arrival, previous guest or housekeeper left us a present in our toilet and didn’t bother to flush it down. The room was as small as a broom closet. Blood red walls and our bed was hard as a rock. $47 overnight parking is highway robbery. The cookies were good and front desk offered to buy my wife a drink.

Very historical feel. Jimmy, Lee and Phil were great. Valet in was easy, Valet out was unpleasant. First assigned room had dirty clothes under the sink in the bathroom. Lee was helpful by quickly reassigning. Overall decent size room. Pool area was small. Great bartenders but needed more than person. Double charged for valet. Valet took my ticket acknowledge me and then never brought my car to me. Horrible customer service at the end by Valet.

The hotel was not as haunted as my Uber driver had promised. No sightings of ghosts, men in masks, meddling kids or giant talking dogs with an enormous sandwiches.

We loved our stay here! The staff was amazing, the location was convenient, and we had a great time.

Lobby was nice. Got to my room and smelled like old hotel in the bad way. Duvet has seen better days…was flat with clumps of what literally felt like those tissues you accidentally left in a pocket of clothes that went through the wash. Bathroom lights were bare fluorescent bulbs. Not great, but I got in late and just didn’t need drama. Would very much not do again.

Property was a bit run down. Half of the power outlets in the room did not work. Overall an okay experience but I think there are better properties in the area.

Everything was fine it’s an older building a little dusty but clean. They gave us a room without a shower curtain/rod, they took a little too long to put us on a different room.

The best part about my stay were the valet drivers; they nicest set of guys- day and evening shift. While I do understand that the building itself is historic, I still thought that it would be more updated than it was. When I arrived, they asked if I wanted housekeeping the next day and I said “yes”. No one ever came and when I inquired about it I was told that the housekeeping staff had all gone. Folks were nice and hotel needs updating but you are basically paying for location which is directly across from the Alamo and other shopping and attractions ( a big plus). Overall my 3 day stay was ok, I probably won’t stay here again, but if you want a decent hotel in the downtown area and don’t care about frills, this is a good option.

The building is lovely. The proximity to the activities I wanted was excellent. Staff was non intrusive, not unfriendly, but not friendly either. The room was very small, however it suited my needs. Large windows to enjoy the view, great bed! great feather pillows! Weird layout for coffee maker no lighting there, not enough lighting (only by the bedside). No seating other than the bed. No refrigerator. I was traveling alone so not such a big deal, but with others might not have been so comfortable.

The Emily Morgan was a bit disappointing this trip. The resturant was terrible. The service there was non existent. The pool was warmer then a hot tub and it was only the 1st week of May. The room was ok but in serious need of painting

Very unique and well kept hotel. Was extremely clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting San Antonio.
