We had a great stay at this property. Everything was easy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. One warning for light sleepers that go to bed early - the walls of the main bedroom stop a few feet short of the very high ceiling. This creates some really interesting architecture and nice lighting, but it is a bit loud if people are hanging out in the living room (which they probably won't because the outdoor space is so nice).

Great place to stay. Plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Home was clean. Countertops were dirty and pool had not been cleaned. Seems like a lot to pay for cleaning when we had to clean certain areas ourselves. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Friends get together

The pool and outside area was quite relaxing and perfect for our booking. The location is on point for exploring San Antonio. The neighborhood is quiet and sits near lots of great restaurants and shopping. The inside is spacious and unique. The master bathroom is gigantic and beautiful The owner was very responsive to messages before and during our stay.

Beautiful house

This was a truly beautiful house, and I really enjoyed my stay. The place was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was outstanding—communicated clearly and consistently, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. My friends and family were also with me, and they all shared the same positive experience. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-kept home to stay in. Without a doubt, I’ll be booking this property again in the future.

Not clean!

Stayed about 5 days and took us 2 days to figure out that we were getting tore up by bed bugs!! Almost every bed if not them all! I have never had a terrible experience until now! The pool wasn't the cleanest. The house wasnt the greatest and we did kill a few cockroaches in the house. We found some dead as well in the house. I was willing to look past all of that until the bed bugs! Never again!! Requesting a refund!!

Great stay! Very few minor issues- easily solved!

Had a group of 8 and we loved the place! Super nice and very beautiful. Issues that we did have we communicated to the property manager and they communicated back very effectively and were extremely helpful! Would definitely stay there again, loved the pool and the openness of the space.

Friends Weekend

We stayed as a group of friends to celebrate some birthdays and hang out together. We loved the outdoor seating to be able to watch TV. We enjoyed being able to use the stocked kitchen and grill outside. Swimming in the pool was so fun in the afternoons. We didn't leave the house much but when we did the house was close to everything we needed. Daniel is a great host. Everything we needed was provided and his instructions were very clear. I would return to this property in the future!

Bachelorette Get Away

I stayed here with a group of 8 women for a bachelorette trip. Overall, the property was very nice. We loved the layout of the back yard and the pool was very nice. The owner/management was easily reached and quickly responded to messages. We enjoyed our stay very much. I will say that the layout of the home was a little strange, but thankfully we were all very comfortable with each other. The ceiling is open between the master and other parts of the home, so sound carried very clearly throughout. There also is no door to the master bathroom, and the ceiling is open there too so it was strange for non couples who may be sharing the space. The location of this property was great. It was close to the airport, but also an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to visit. I would recommend this property to others.

Peaceful Oasis Near it All

We had a lovely stay at the Shearer Hills - Ridgeview property. The bed was comfy and the master shower was epic. The back deck and pool area are a dream. We sat outside every day and night and it felt like a total escape.

Nice property but needs tlc

It has issues and needs some upgrades. Freezer door wouldn't close, lighting was challenging, electrical was bizarre, pool was nice, bedrooms were fine. Sheets were wet when time for bed and had to find the dryer.

Not the cleanest

The house was fine, however I don’t believe it had the best cleaning. The back patio was covered in bird poo and really could have been hosed down, or swept. The sheets on multiple beds had red stains and they only supplied us with 13 towels total. There were 11 girls staying there so we each used 1 towel for both showering and being out in the pool. They didn’t supply us with any extra toilet paper or any paper towels until I asked. There were dead flys in the fridge, and spiders throughout the house. Like I said, the house was fine- we weren’t there that often, and it was on the less expensive side, and we aren’t very picky, but I think these problems should be noted.

Great for small group getaway.

Everything was up to expectations with this house, it is on the smaller side but the large backyard area makes up for the smaller living room area. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, would recommend.

Very pleased

We felt so welcome. House was exactly as described in the listing. Clean and very nicely decorated. Location was great for us, guys played golf during the day while ladies went shopping. Short drive to River Walk without having to deal with traffic and congestion every day. Kitchen provides range of small appliances; good kitchen knives; pots and pans of all sizes, matching dinnerware and glassware and a variety of bakeware. LOVED backyard patio. Very pleased. Wished primary bedroom had a king bed. All beds we were new and comfortable. Will keep this VRBO on list if we visit San Antonio again.

Great for a smaller group

I stayed here with 10 of my friends and family, all adults. While the property and location were great, the house is more fit for a couple who is taking their kids on a trip. The master bedroom is fantastic while the other rooms are smaller and cramped if you’re sharing them, which all of us were. We ended up using the master to house most of our bags and clothing and of course all shared the bathrooms. We spent a lot of time in the yard and kitchen area which were perfect for what we needed them for. The host was fantastic with communication and the house was spotless when we arrived.

Wish we could rate 4.5

Overall this ending to our vacation was a pleasant time with our family. We spent most of our time by the back deck area with the pool and lounging space. The house was very clean and we were provided with necessities that were needed. The master bathroom was amazing! Everyone needed to take a turn lol :) The only things we wish we could change for future stays would be labeling light switches, notice on master ceiling being open to most of house meaning you can hear others TVs or conversations, disappointing not to see the hammock or dartboard (we could have been out of Season for them), maybe mention where washer and dryer is in book that was a little scavenger hunt- but love that location! These are reasons we would rate 4.5 but overall would stay again.
