Retiro rústico confortable

Un vecindario tranquilo al que llamar hogar, ya sea para ir a trabajar o para jugar o para visitar a familiares y amigos. Esta cómoda casa es conveniente para gran parte de lo que San Antonio tiene para ofrecer. Está cerca de excelentes tiendas (La Cantera, The Rim y North Star), restaurantes, Hardberger Park, Fiesta Texas, UTSA, South Texas Medical Center, USAA y el aeropuerto. Las atracciones del centro, como el famoso River Walk, Pearl Brewery, Hemisfair Park, el Alamo y el Majestic Theatre están a 20 minutos en coche.

Esta es una propiedad limpia, NO FUMADOR, perfecta para que una familia se reúna para divertirse en San Antonio o para un viaje de negocios donde desea sentirse como en casa.

Este fue nuestro primer hogar y tiene un valor sentimental para nosotros. A principios de 2017, decidimos convertirlo en una casa de estilo rústico para los visitantes que vienen a San Antonio. Hemos decorado la casa con madera rústica recuperada, en su mayoría paletas tratadas térmicamente recuperadas. Realmente ha sido un trabajo de amor y muchos meses de trabajo, como lo hicimos nosotros mismos. Desde teñir los pisos, destrozar palets, desgarrar la madera, raspar pisos de madera dura que otros tiraban, convertimos lo que algunos consideran basura en un tesoro. Todavía estamos trabajando en el paisajismo del patio - parece que eso nunca terminará - ¡UGH! Hay un amplio espacio de estacionamiento con espacio para cuatro autos en el camino de entrada (que está parcialmente sombreado), así como el estacionamiento en la calle, pero el garaje no está disponible para el estacionamiento.

Hay una parrilla de gas en el patio trasero, así como un área de patio agradable con una mesa y sillas para sentarse y charlar con familiares o amigos rodeados de antorchas tiki en la noche.

Hay un televisor Roku de 55 "en la pared en el área de amor, así como acceso a Internet WiFi de alta velocidad.

Si va a necesitar camas adicionales, tenemos un colchón de aire tamaño Queen muy cómodo y un "doble enrollable" que se puede usar en la sala de estar delantera; Sin embargo, tiene dos entradas que no permiten privacidad. Por favor, háganos saber con anticipación si va a necesitar estos.

Toda la casa y el patio son para su disfrute, simplemente sin usar el garaje, ¡todavía estamos trabajando en proyectos allí!

La casa tiene dos pasos que conducen a la cocina y la parte posterior de la casa. Si un huésped tiene un handicap que hace subir 2 pasos a la vez, la única habitación que será fácilmente accesible (sin pasos) es la habitación en el frente de la casa que no permite privacidad.

Great place close to everything.

Weekend in San Antonio

We enjoyed our stay for a weekend in San Antonio. The location was quite convenient for the activities we had scheduled. The house was very dog friendly, so our dogs enjoyed their stay also. We would stay here again.

Amazing Home and Hospitality

We had a great time visiting Texas. This house was perfect for our stay and exactly as advertised. The pictures do not do this home justice! Will definitely stay here again when we return to San Antonio.

Great for families

Quiet neighborhood, all kitchen items, linens, and every day items provided. For those traveling with a pet, the fenced yard is a great feature. Sitting outside with morning coffee and listening to the birds singing in the tree canopy was a pleasure.

Perfect vacation getaway

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful and very clean. It was perfect for what we needed it for. It’s close to all the attractions and worked well for our special needs child and our toy poodle. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are very friendly And I really felt like I was at home in their house. Hoping to go back next year!

Excellent home in a fantastic location

Our two families had a wonderful time sharing this house while enjoying much of what San Antonio has to offer! Close to the theme parks and the Riverwalk as well as so many great restaurants, the location was awesome! The house was clean, comfortable, and the owners were extremely accommodating! Plenty of room for two couples, four kids, and two dogs! We will definitely stay here anytime we can when we return to San Antonio!

Basic Training graduation

We had a great time. The house was clean, plenty of space and we even got to enjoy the neighborhood pool. We were staying to attend my son’s Basic Training graduation. It was an easy 20 minute drive to Lackland. I highly recommend this home.

Big move!

The hosts were kind enough to allow an early check-in and approval for our dogs to stay. We needed lodging while we were moving out of our home and preparing to move to Illinois. We are so thankful!

Perfect getaway home

This property is perfect for a quick trip, which is what we did, or a long stay. It was more than enough room for my husband and I and our two dogs. It's located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and its close to shopping and dining with easy access to the expressway. The dogs loved the backyard. We loved all the little special touches this property provided. We will definitely be return guests!

Thanksgiving in San Antonio

Very comfortable home in lovely neighborhood. Mattresses were very comfortable and kitchen was well appointed. We even baked 2 pies, roasted a few pieces of turkey and made gravy for a family dinner we attended. Loved the property just be aware of multiple levels throughout the house.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed for several weeks while visiting family. Everything was great. There are quite a few places inside that have one or two steps up & down which took a little getting used to. Hosts are doing a nice job with the Texas themed remodel.

If you’re looking for a spacious house, this is it. It has the feelof a real home, not like the ones where you afraid to touch for fear ofbreaking great quiet neighborhood Shawn was very helpful and telling us where to and not to go. He even help me find another place when our time is up if I ever go back to San Antonio, I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable home in a nice neighborhood!

My wife and I spent over two weeks here visiting our son and new daughter in law. The owners were accommodating and responded quickly to all questions we had. The house is a comfortable setting with most everything you would need for daily living. We also had our two dogs with us. The back yard was perfect for them and the neighborhood was great for walking them. We look forward to renting this home for our future trips.

Great Family Trip

My mom, sister, and I decided we wanted to do an adults trip with our husbands. I knew just the place we would stay! My husband and I stayed here last summer with our kids and it was perfect. We’ll it was perfect again! We all felt like we were at home. The back yard is big and perfect for our dogs. Everything is about an hour away and being from Houston that’s normal for us. We went to Fredericksburg, Canyon Lake, and Gruene. The host are always amazing and just a call away if you need something.

Rustic Retreat

This place fit me perfectly. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood when walking and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the people there were. This was important to me because I stayed for 2 months. The fenced back yard was necessary for my dog to allow her off leash. It's close to groceries, dog parks, trails for walking, bus route and easy driving distance to the downtown River Walk and surrounding areas.

Perfect House for our Family

Originally we had a trip planned with my parents but ended up just being my husband and I with our 4 kids. This house was perfect! My husband and I are native Houstonians and avid outdoors people so the decor fit our style. The house is perfectly located to do anything you want in San Antonio. We also visited Gruene and Austin as well! The kids loved sleeping on the bunk beds and were so happy we could bring our family dogs with us. The neighborhood was so cute and very quiet! It was the best birthday vacation I’ve had!

Christmas 2021

What an awesome Christmas!! The house has so much Texas charm. Sean and Karen were great hosts, ensuring all of our comfort and needs were met.
