Love this hotel, not far from music, food, and shopping.

Close to Riverwalk. Reasonable on site parking. Helpful friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. In restored historical building exhibiting some character

Great location! Right off the freeway with perfect access to the convention center and the Alamodome. The staff was wonderful and very helpful Oddest thing though...I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that the interior was so dark. When you walk into the foyer, the lighting is low but not too bad. It's when you walk off the elevator on to your floor! There are bulbs in the sconces but they put out very little light. And then when you get to your room and flip a switch....well, let's just say that my daughter turned on every light in our room and it was still very, very dreary. She opened the curtains to actually let in some light. It was just very odd. It was near impossible to lay in bed and read a book. Also for groups traveling with multiple females and trying to get ready at the same time....there is no mirror over the desk so someone can get ready in the outside room. The only mirror is in the bathroom. The parking lot is extremely small. If there are no spaces available when you arrive, they have someone take you to the overflow lot which is quite a ways away.

Great experience at this property. Staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms are nice and a bit larger than most. Lobby and breakfast area is very comfortable and relaxing. Overall this hotel is well maintained and in a unique building if you like that sort of thing like I do. The only negative is the overflow parking is a bit of a hassle to get to if you are not able to park in their main lot.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back and stay here.

Good location. Needs an upgrade. Needs new carpet.

The hotel was much nicer than I anticipated. Sometimes hotels in locations like this and in this price range have been minimally acceptable but continue to be used because of the location. That was not the case here. There were no amenities such as a pool, but that was unimportant to me.

We loved everything. It was lovely, clean, comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Great experience. The only thing we might have liked is a little brighter lighting in the room. That wasn't a huge issue at all. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel booked to accommodate a quick getaway with the spouse, the hotel was clean, and super comfortable, the room was quite spacious and the staff was great. The hotel is a short walk to the riverwalk, the hubby and I enjoyed the short walk there and back, This is a perfect location to walk to riverwalk one day & hop on freeway the next to explore the city. We had such a great stay at this hotel that I have already booked my next stay!!

A great place to stay, walking distance is only a few blocks from the Riverwalk. No complaints highly recommend .

Stayed Mon-Thurs on 3rd floor at end of September. Not pleased with parking fee charged nor the one elevator the size of a small closet. The 3rd floor was always very stuffy and hot. The room was nice, spacious and always well cleaned with very responsive A/C. Decent breakfast. The fitness room is a joke. The side guest only entrance was never locked. Well-lit sidewalks to and from convention center and happening San Antonio locations.

This hotel was convenient and in a relatively safe place. It was a little too close to the highway (noisy when outside). However, I would stay there in the future.

Stayed here last year also for a trade show. Walking distance to convention center. Texas shaped waffles for breakfast. Small workout room. Don't need much else. Only downside is that they charged me for parking.

I found this hotel via the net and booked it because ofbits proximity to the Alamo Dome. They weren't kidding. A very short 5 min. walk and you are at the front door! As for the hotel, ask for Corey. This guy and the young lady with him (i didnt get her name..sorry) were absolutely helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the amenities were basic but not lacking in any way. The only thing I can even mention was that I had a hard time finding non bar food in that area. Other than that.. if I'm headed to The Dome again....I'm using this place.

Let me start by saying the Hotel is spotless clean! The room was very nice and comfortable. It is a block and a half from the Riverwalk and about 4 blocks from the Alamo so the location is great. Now for the bad. They charge $15.00 a day to park your car and call it an Amenity. That is bad enough but the parking lot is small and on the second day it was full and we were told there was another lot a block away and we could park there and yes we would still be charged the $15. The bed was hard as a rock (which is a personal complaint) breakfast was somewhat lacking to be polite for the level of hotel it was but to end on a positive note the staff was excellent.

Hotel says its on the Riverwalk, but it is quite far. Not walking distance, and surely not safe to try as it is right next to a major freeway.

Noise and staff helpfulness keep this hotel from getting high marks. We asked to be moved to a different room, didn't happen. Our remote didn't work, took a day to get a new one. Chain on toilet flusher kept coming loose, never got it fixed. They sent maintenance to our room once but we were napping and had "quiet please" sign in key card scanner and when we didn't answer the knock on the door they tried to get in anyway. Good thing we had the door locked!!!!!! Walls are very thin and floors squeak when the people in the room over you walk across the room.

Leisure trip with family to San Antonio. Hotel staff very helpful/friendly. Excellent breakfast options daily. Would recommend better lighting in rooms (need all 6 lamps/fixtures on at night.) Took in Alamo, Riverwalk, Zoo, PRCA Rodeo. Enjoyed the sights, food and culture. Biggest challenge was figuring out the transportation system (bus routes.) Drivers were always helpful.

Perfect distance from hotel to Henry B Gonzalez convention center and river walk!

Other than a wonky elevator (the controls would flash all over the place and another guest told me they got stuck) the hotel is in a good location with a short walk to the river walk and Alamo. I have absolutely no complaints with the room and the staff I interacted with were all wonderful.
