Convenient location walking distance to many eating establishments. Easy to find from the interstate and close to many other places we had to get to

I loved the trail out back. It was lovely to listen to and watch. The parking wasn’t great but it was a dense area. Overall great hotel. Single rooms are a little small but overall great.

The managers were really helpful and kind! Great place to stay!

This is one of the most well-managed places I have been to the last four months living in a suit case. And it is all because of the amazing management of Bethany Rousselle, the General Manager. She loves her job and her staff and that trickles down to the guests. She and her staff do what they can to take care of you and even remember your name! The best place to stay in Salt Lake. Sugar House area has great shops, good parking and again the best staff and service. I extended my stay 5 times...

The hotel stunk and was filthy! I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Excellent!I like the park behind the hotel.Everything is good Just a little expensive .

At check in we asked for dishes and extra towels. They said they would bring them up to our room. When we got to our room the door was wide open which was unusual so I called the front desk to let them know. She said she’d be right up to see if anything was missing. No one came up to check and no one ever brought us dishes. It wasn’t busy at the front desk at all. The room was quiet and we slept well except for the outdated AC system running erratically. They seem to be charging similarly to hotels with higher ratings in the area so we just wanted to share incidents about the level of service at this accommodation. It is convenient to the Sugarhouse area so that is a plus.

We made a reservation ahead of time but when we showed up to check in they said they were at full capacity and they didnt have a room for us. They gave us a coupon for a free night at a different location but all the other properties within an hour were booked out as well.

Nice hotel located in a central area close to many shops and restaurants you can walk to at night. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Nice to have fridge and small stove, as this minimizes the need to eat out all the time. General manager ran the extra mile accommodating special requests. The only concern is that the hotel is located next to a Chick-Fil-A restaurant and both facilities share the same entrance/exit to the main road. Getting in/out of the hotel might be difficult sometimes due to traffic jams. Would certainly stay again due to the great location, attentiveness of the staff and facilities.

Room was dirty, old used tissue behind the bed, bathroom floor was dirty, fridge was dusty.

Check-in was awkward. There had been several incidents apparently prior to arrival. Staff was flustered. Police couldn’t wait until gusts had been taken care of first. Prior guest came back because someone was in their room already. Sounds like the hotel attracts a criminal crowd despite the fact it’s across from Westminster College. Room was clean. No cooking or kitchenware provided. Toiletries are bare minimum. A bar of soap and shampoo for one. Bath faucet dripped all night. Bathtub didn’t drain so I stood in three inches of water for a quick shower. Iron leaked water from the bottom plate soaking my clothes as I was trying to iron out wrinkles. Complimentary breakfast consists of individually pre-packaged muffins, oatmeal packets and coffee. Beware if you are gluten sensitive. Location is easy to access from different directions and close to upscale shopping. Bottom line, I did not feel comfortable or safe here.

Check in person was helpful but complained a lot and seemed frazzled. Rude to other guests who were waiting.

Extended Stay SugarHouse offers a very basic accommodation which is convenient to this neighborhood, SLC in general, and easy access to skiing and hiking. We don’t mind bringing our dog to this hotel. They have a nice back garden/creek area for pets. Don’t expect an exercise room or breakfast here. Our original room smelled of cigarettes which was surprising as this is a no smoking hotel. They put us in a different room right away. It is a tedious process to register here for some reason with lots of aperwork and every adults has to show their ID. Very basic but ok stay.

Our one night stay at this ESA was very disappointing. The check-in staff were courteous but to sign in we had to sign lots of paperwork and they would not let us split the bill (we had just split the bill at the Town House Motel in Winnemucca, NV the night before and did not have to sign so many papers). When we got to our room, the door wouldn't open (the security latch on the inside had locked) and it took someone from the front desk 5-10 minutes to get it open. The ESA had been resurfacing the hallways and one side of the hotel was blocked off, but our side was open and unfortunately the fumes from the resurfacing were very bad. We had to run the fan all night to try to keep the smell of the fumes to a minimum. They had a very small grab-and-go breakfast. Their free WiFi did not have good bandwidth (I streamed a basketball game and it was very blurry); you had to pay for higher bandwidth. Overall, we were happy with the location (close to family in the SugarHouse area of SLC, but we were disappointed with the hotel.

It was awesome and the hotel staff were awesome people for being in such good spirits and such good people skills. I wouldn't mind staying there again sometime in the near future. I booked my room online and they didn't give me any trouble when I checked in. Kept it very professional and very polite.
