We had no hot water at all! The toilet was plugged when we got to the room and they had no maintenance staff so we had to fix it and clean up the mess.

Well ive never had this happen but when booking i chose to pay when i got to the property so when i got her she wanted my crdit card but i had cash (which ive paid cash several times when using this website and had no problem but for this hotel it wasnt allowed) so i was trying to figure out a card cuz i just had cash and instead of giving me time to figure it out she automatically wanted to cancel my reservation! So i asked her to give me a few mins to figure it out and after a moment i did so then we go back to check in and i ask her y they dont take cash at check in and she said she didnt know but the can take it at check out... so i asked her so what do i do pay as we leave and she said she didnt know how that worked so i was upset but just let it go and just wanted to get to our room and so we get up thereand our keys wont work so we had to go get our keys fixed then we get into the room and there wasnt a couch (like shown in the picture) there was just a chair so then we called and asked if they had a roll away bed cuz we booked our room for 5 people.. 5 people cant sleep on 2 beds! Thats y we got the one with the couchso rhe same lady that checked us in said she didnt know even what a roll away bed was and that she didnt think they had any even tho on the wedsite it said u can get one upon request so my mom waa on the phone with her and was getting upset with her abd she finally called back saying ya they did have one abd she would bring it up but it would b an additi

It is well kept and staff were excellent. Very clean place.

We booked a family suite at a pet friendly hotel. We checked in, got settled in with our corgi and took showers. At 10pm we got a request from a very apologetic and nice young man named Sam. We moved. The room we were moved to was way smaller and we had to have a roll away. The roll away arrived dirty with hair in it. We went downstairs to get fresh linen for it. When we checked out, the woman at the desk was rude. The experience was very negative and I would never recommend this hotel. They blamed Orbitz for the confusion.

Requested a high floor, they had assigned us a first floor room. We balked and they moved us to a second floor room for $10 a night more...

Nice roomy room. Very clean. Near restaurants and museum.

Good location. Close to downtown and main access road

The hotel was nice and room had ample space for my family. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast during our stay. The only negative would be that the people above us seemed to never sleep. From 10:00 pm to 4:00 am they were stomping all over the room and it was difficult to sleep through it most nights. I mentioned it to the staff and they didn't seem to care.

This motel housed me during a particular stressful time. I was in the neighborhood from another state to look at homes for retirement. I was a stranger in a strange land and I felt comforted each time I approached staff. Regarding my room... The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were the nicest I've ever experienced in a motel. My room was well located and quiet. My only uncomfortable moment was later when I stepped into the shower and found it was handicap provided. The shower head was a hand held but the wall grip for the shower head did not allow a non-handicapped person to stand underneath. It's difficult to wash certain parts under water flow while holding the shower head. Aside from the shower I was extremely comfortable and I anticipate staying at this motel at least once before we move into the area. Thank you Red Lion Inn!

I apologize for your frustration about the check in process, I will clarify our policy to the young lady so she can explain it better. We require a valid id and credit card at check in to take a deposit of $30 in addition to the cost of the room and tax, regardless of the booking method, when its prepaid the money is already there so all we run is the deposit. Unfortunately for all of us some folks who have been black listed for grossly violating hotel policies and other unwelcome types have used prepaid cards to book rooms online to avoid being identified or held responsible if they damage property or to avoid law enforcement knowing where they are and a lot of other things we try hard to avoid here, our guests safety and our staffs safety are taken seriously, its not you, its someone else but this is why all policies are created, to systematically avoid potential issues. Again I apologize for your trouble but in that matter the policy is clear and it is in the fine print when you book no matter who you book through and I hope you understand and can forgive us for that. I do not have your name since you posted anonymously, so I am unable to determine what happened with the couch situation. Often times when booking online folks see a great price and don't notice as they book a handicapped queen, since its the lowest priced room, our two queen junior suites have a couch, our standard two queens have a chair, this happens a lot, I wish I knew what happened there so I could properly resolve that issue.
