Steps

The property was great for us. It would be a little difficult for anyone who struggles with steps. Other than that it is a beautiful and clean home directly on the lake.

Peaceful and Relaxing!

Wonderful family home with a beautiful view!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The kids loved jumping off the dock, swimming, fishing and kayaking. Along with the beautiful view, the lake and neighborhood were so peaceful. The house was spacious and incredibly clean. It was great! The drive in to Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is not too far. We enjoyed spending a couple days of our trip visiting there.

Great clean fun family home on the lake.

We loved our stay here, spacious for 6 adults and clean! Beautiful views and just far enough away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved it so much we just may visit yearly.

Quiet with an Awesome View of the Lake

This was our second time staying at this house. We have thoroughly enjoyed both of our stays. Eric and Michele are fantastic hosts and do an excellent job of maintaining the house. The house was very clean on both of our stays and communication was excellent. The view of the lake is fantastic and we enjoyed watching the birds on the lake in the mornings. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for our visit and the house was very quiet which made for a great night’s sleep. We will definitely be back again!!!

Beautiful views, comfy cottage

Lake house was spotless, cozy and offered every amenity we could have asked for - well equipped kitchen to make our own meals, upper and lower decks, one with a fire pit, so we could literally stay outside all day and enjoy the surroundings. There’s a pool table downstairs and comfy couches to curl up with a good book. We didn’t use the kayaks only because life jackets in our size weren’t available, they only had size Large. The only draw back (and honestly, we run into this every time we rent an individual vacation home) is that the highly fragranced detergent everything is laundered in really bothers our allergies and it permeates everything we bring with us. It would be so much nicer if fragrance free detergents and cleaners were used. I hope more hosts will consider switching to fragrance free detergent.

Awesome View.

This place was amazing! The view in the morning was fabulous!! Check in was flawless, the house was clean and well taken care of. The game room down stairs was a great bonus. Although the weather was hot the stay was fantastic. The new dock was a great addition. I brought my little 5 hp boat and was able to tie it up at the dock. the lake was a great place to keep cool. The host was very approachable and checked in with us to make sure there were no issues. The only issue we had, (it really wasn't) was with four women we ran out of Toilet paper. (not a big deal we stopped at a quick stop nearby and just got some). Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect lake rental

The pictures don’t do this property justice, especially the view of the lake, and smoky hills that wrap you up like a big hug from nature. Lovely lakeside rental w big dock and boat slip. Plenty of marinas to rent a watercraft from, and the property has kayaks for rent. Very friendly owners, and a clean well maintained cabin. See you next year!

Great place, highly recommend!

Great property with beautiful views of the lake! House is kid friendly and was perfect for our family. Baby gate was available for the deck as there are quite a few steps going down to the dock. Michele and Eric were wonderful hosts! We would stay again!

Still Waters

Love this house! The view is incredible, we loved sitting on the porches and enjoying the view. The house is clean, well stocked with all the extras and beautifully decorated. Eric and Michele are so thoughtful and great hosts. We hope to visit again soon!

Quiet with a Great View of Lake

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake from this house and being able to watch the sun come up in the mornings. The house was very clean and quiet. The interior has been updated and it had a great layout for our stay. We especially enjoyed the coffee station and thought this was a nice touch. The kitchen was also well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our grandkids enjoyed playing darts and using the pool table in the basement. Michele was excellent to work with and even contacted us to let us know we had left something behind and she made arrangements to have it picked up by one of our relatives that lives in the area. We really appreciate her doing that and will definitely be back again to stay again at this house!!!

Home away from home.

This home is nice and clean, is well stocked with everything a person would need, and has a fabulous view. The hosts are very nice and genuinely care that we have a good stay, and I like that they are Christians. The kids loved playing pool and ping pong in the basement. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this house, Still Waters, to anyone. It's a happy and peaceful place.

Labor Day 2021

Eric & Michele thought of every small detail. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home was fully furnished with everything you’d need. We appreciated all the extra covers & pillows. The view and water access is excellent. The neighbors were very friendly. The fireworks show the neighborhood put on is as good as any small town July 4th show. Maybe even a little better! We would definitely stay here again. Book today, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect for our family reunion!

What a Perfect property for a family coming from Colorado, North Carolina, and Tennessee areas. The views are spectacular, and the lovely breezes had us loving sitting on the deck (The neighbor has lots of birdfeeders so we enjoyed the bird show as the cardinals and hummingbirds came and went). There was so much to do for crowd of youngsters and teenagers and young adults. We had a boat that the dock easily accommodated, and we used the host’s kayaks, a floating water mat, and the host’s donut floaties…so much fun! We loved that the kitchen and island made it easy for our crowd to have meals—only went out one time the whole week so they could experience a Pal’s burger! We didn't lack a single thing in the kitchen So food prep and dining was a breeze. The linens were very nice quality and the beds very comfortable. The host made sure everything was sparkling clean and responded immediately if we had any questions. The stairs, which are very common around the lakes here, were good exercise for us and the lake views made them totally worth it! Highly recommend!!

Great Weekend Lake Trip

Clean home and the host was very responsive and helpful. Being right on the water is really nice, we enjoyed the lake during the day and were able to rent a boat during our stay. Having the dock on the property was convenient. The views are great from the back patio. Only about a 20min drive to grocery stores and restaurants.

4th of July to Remember

We really couldn't have asked for a better experience visiting Cherokee Lake. The house was extremely clean, comfortable and well stocked. We also appreciated the view and private dock access. This was our first time to Cherokee Lake--the boating and scenery was absolutely fantastic. Truly a getaway. The fireworks show put on by a neighbor really topped off the trip. Would definitely recommend this rental if you're looking!
