The pictures don't do it justice! The house gives a rustic feel with all modern ammenities. It was excellent for riding as there's access to trails a mile north or south. It's very nice and quiet tucked in the woods, the kids really enjoyed walking down the property trails picking up sticks for the fire. We're already looking forward to staying here again.

It was great. As it is describe and plus some. The extra’s that are in the house if you were to forget something was a great bonus. The property is beautiful. There are trails to walk, and see the woods. The house is fully stocked for whatever you would need. It is peaceful, and quiet. My family had a great time. Very clean. I would recommend to anyone thinking about renting it.

Beautiful private location

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The place was very clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The location was wooded and private but convenient for Higgins and Houghton Lake.

This was our second time staying here and we will likely be back again! This cabin is private, clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner is excellent. We appreciate that it is pet friendly and love the trails on the property. Highly recommend!

Best stay ever

This was by far the best home Ive ever stayed in on vbro or air b nd b. To start the communication was great answred very quickly about anh questions i had. The property was beyond beautiful very clean they accommodated everything we needed blankets pillows towels on every bed and every bedroom had a tv closet dresser and fan. They include so much for your animals very very pet friendly down to having bowls, treats, a portable crate, little dog leash outside and a leash hanging in the entrance. So adorable 5 stars all around will def be back to visit your property its on my saved list love the area as well so many badass trails to ride highly recommend. So much fun by far one of the best trips ive had in a very long time my friends also agree this pmace is amazing

Holiday weekend stay

We loved our stay at this lovely 3bdrm, 2 bath cabin in the woods. It had all the amenities and having a dog kennel in the hall closet is a nice touch. Our bath towels were laid out for us (love not having to search for things) and the extra bathroom toiletries came in handy as one left their toothbrush/paste behind. Our plans included river tubing in Grayling and mead tasting in Bellaire. We were happy to be not far from either location.

Fun weekend before crazy school year!

We had a wonderful stay, cabin was very homy and welcoming! Perfect location for trails even for beginners! Joe was amazing helping and guiding us as to how to navigate the trails. Also very prompt when responding to text or Vrbo messages. We sure be back!

Fantastic woodland getaway

Our family rented this cabin for a long weekend. Couldn't have been happier with the place! Super clean, had all the amenities you'd need and we had a blast! Would 10/10 stay here again. The cabin and property were beautiful.

Beautiful and quiet

We were pleasantly surprised that the pictures didn’t do the cabin justice! Everything was better in person! The power recliner and leather couches were so comfy! The only thing I would suggest is moving the microwave somewhere us short people can access better.

Great hideaway cabin in the woods

This cabin was all we could ask for! Quiet and secluded yet only a short drive into town if needed. This cabin was very clean and spacious.The cabin had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. We brought our sxs up and it was very close to trails and not a far drive to higgins lake. Owner was a very fast responder and friendly if we had any questions. Thanks again for opening your awesome cabin to us and we look forward to booking again in the future!

Cabin getaway!

I decided to book this property for the 4th of July week for a getaway with friends. I cannot tell you enough how perfect everything was! From surrounding things to do like swimming at Kneff Lake, kayaking the Ausable River, or riding the ORV trails you really can’t miss out on connecting with nature. When it’s time to come in from playing outside, the cabin offerers such a wonderful place to rest your head. As you walk in you really do feel like you’re in a second home, and my friends felt the same way. Everything was very kept up, and clean as well. I can’t wait to visit again, and the hosts Joe / Amy were awesome to work with. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

I loved the fact that it was so CLEAN and had just about every little thing you could ever need throughout the whole cabin. The extra goodies and stuff for your dog was very thoughtful as well. The only thing I would recommend is updating the picture of the "outside / yard" It's not what it looks like now, so maybe an updated picture of how it currently looks. I had no complaints and neither did my 11 & 13 yr. old grandsons, they loved everything. My husband said it was the best cabin yet....(we rent 2-3 a year) All of the communication I had with the owners was clear and fast, I loved that as well. We all loved the layout of the cabin, lots of room but not too big where we felt like weren't able to hang out together. Very nice decor...loved it!!!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin and plan to go back! It was comfortable, cozy and clean with everything we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and loved the trails out back. The location was private and serene with good WiFi and cell service. The host was very accommodating and communicative. Highly recommend!
