Would recommend this hotel. Pretty much equidistant to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Great location and nice little roof terrace. Free aperitif's on the terrace a nice touch. It is small but a great base for sightseeing.

I really liked this hotel. Despite the fact that they do not have a restaurant, everything was great. The room was clean, breakfast & evening snacks on the roof terrace was awesome. The bed was great & I had the best sleep ever. I'll definitely book it again.

Despite some issue we faced with heating system and hot water, we really appreciated staff efforts (special thanks to Paolo) to give us the comfort we need. The position is great, so close to Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi and Piazza Barberini. Breakfast was fine, room clean and comfortable.

Very pleasant and helpful staff at this Boutique Hotel. It was in a very convenient location. 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 5 min walk to Spanish Steps, and on the corner you have banks, a sephora, and just one block down 3 amazing restaurants. The hotel has a super cute rooftop terrance with scenic views of the city. They offer complimentary wine and snacks (I guess there version of a happy hour) daily. They also have complimentary breakfast which you preselect your menu the night before on a door slip and they bring it to you in the morning. I loved this concept, Only wish they had more options. The beds were hard as a rock but ironically we slept just fine. Maybe offer pillow top option for hard mattress. The rooms are tiny but european standard. Put 2 people and 2 suitcases in there and good luck moving around. The bathroom got the job done, nothing to tote about. Overall it was a short yet comfortable stay and the location was wonderful.

Rooms are small but ample. The staff are extremely helpful & nice especially Roschanne on reception.Explaining how close we are to walking to Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps.Thats the Location we wanted to be in.Restaurants, bars,& shops all close by.Just loved the roof terrace in the morning & highlight at night. After a busy day exploring all the sites Rome has to offer.I couldn't believe the view in the distance the Dome of the Vatican lit up from the far corner of the outside Restaurant at night with my glass of wine in my hand just serene.I would Recommend anyone coming to Rome for the first time try La Fenice ,you won't be disappointed for location.

Typical small Rome hotel with small rooms. But I'm not in Rome to stay in my hotel all the time. The air conditioner worked so I was comfortable. Breakfast was good on a little rooftop patio. They also offer help yourslef wine in the afternoon on the rooftop patio as well! Location is great! Close to Barberini metro station. Within walking distance to the busy Trevi Fountain area. Good service and a good stay!

Late arrival. Last two rooms of the night but the smell of the ancient sewing system was room-filling and made us get away as soon as possible. Unacceptable. Unfortunately the costs were fully charged although the personnel was sincerely sorry. No coulance whatsoever. Not recommended.

After a long flight from NYC, train into Rome and 20 minute walk to the hotel, we arrived and they said, "There's a problem with your room". That was the last thing we wanted to hear. Apparently there was no electric and they did not know when it would be fixed. They moved us to another hotel that had rooms about 100 sq ft. No rooftop, which is basically why I booked it. Anyway, I can't say whether to stay here or not, because we never had the chance

Family ambience restaurant with warm and friendly staff. Noticed that almost all of the other customers were families with kids. Great pizza and pasta. Affordable too. Recommend trying the homemade egg noodle pasta with tomato and meat sauce / simple and delicious! Overall, pleasantly surprised and highly recommend!

The hotel have a great location. Some rooms are very small but that was not a problem for us, becuase we did not come to Rome to stay in the hotel. An advantage was also a terrace at the top of the hotel where you can eat a breakfast. We were also given a basket of fruits and sparking wine at the first day. Unfortunately during our stay we found many problem with a service and staff. We were travelling with a group of friends. Six of us stayed at La Fenice and two other in another hotel in Rome. One evening we wanted to meet together in our hotel, but the receptionist did not allow our friends to come into the hotel. We had to go to their hotel although there was much more of us who were checked in at La Fenice. In their hotel there was not problem with the staff. Another thing was at breakfast - in 2 of 3 day when we stayed, there was no bread and no rolls. The only thing we could eat was toasting bread :( Last strange thing was that the fruits that was the gift from the hotel was taken from our room at the second day. Fortunately we managed to drink a sparkling wine;-)
