Front desk did refer to the very few options for meals in town. Had no knowledge of the area- asked about the nearby National park that we were there to visit and she had no knowledge of it. There was a sitting room and bedroom but the curtains in the bedroom were see thru and did not meet leaving no privacy.

From the outside this place evoked fear that we had been ripped off. It's a mobile home with a rusting roof, unkempt yard, and set well away from the road, making it hard to find. Inside the place is quite nice, with a full kitchen, large comfortable bed, and a separate bed and bedroom. Bring your own food because we didn't see a restaurant or a grocery store in town. There's also no ice, because the refrigerator didn't have ice trays--a sad and almost unforgivable omission since it would be so easy to remedy. Great location for seeing North Cascades NP which is about 15 miles away. Overall a pleasant stay, but plan ahead of time for what this place lacks.

The room was pretty small, but big enough for me alone. For two it would be pretty crowded. I had a nice view of a cedar forest from my balcony. The WiFi worked fine, which was great since there was no Verizon service at all. It was nice having washers and driers and they didn't even charge extra for them. I brought laundry detergent, but there was a big bottle of detergent already there. The kitchenette had sufficient pots, plans, plates, silverware, etc. for cooking. I'd come back here again.
