Modern, comfortable room. Very nice employees and close to lots of places to dine. Quality complimentary breakfast.
Spent the night after flight travel all day. We were late arrivals and since we had notified them they had everything ready for our check in.
My husband and I were in town for a family funeral. It was a quick overnight stay. We checked in rather late because we went straight to funeral home from airport. The desk person, Kenny, was extremely friendly and helpful after a very long and busy day. He even made us fresh coffee that evening. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Plan on returning for a longer stay and will definitely return to here again.
The location was good between Ohio and Fla. Its close to many casual restaurants. The staff weren't the fastest and the room key didn't work the first time around. The room was clean and comfortable. The room air conditioner wasn't on when we got to the room, but it worked quickly to cool us off. Overall, a slightly above average place to stay.
Our room was clean and service was good. The breakfast bar was however sub-standard. Very little there. Not up to usual standards for this brand.
i made reservations the night before the stay and I was unhappy that when i attempted to check in...there were not any rooms available at 3.00pm..we had to wait 35 min before getting a room..overall my stay was great...I was estastoc of how nice our room was....
We journey back and forth between Ohio and Florida several times in a year. This Microtel Inn at Rock Hill was one of the very best for the price. Carpets, beds, and soon, televisions are new even though the hotel is only about 10 years old. It IS a Microtel, so therefore, the rooms are compact, but very clean, well organized (I.e. towels folded artistically, duvet tucked tightly, etc.) and comfortable. No smokey odors anywhere. Easy access to Interstate, restaurants and gas stations. Breakfast area was clean and well attended by the assistant front desk manager, A. She said that they were adding hot foods soon to the continental breakfast fare. The coffee was GREAT, and worth filling up the travel mug as we continued our journey.
No shampoo or tissues.but very nice room.staff was great.
It was a much better experience than I had at another hotel just down the street. The room was a little smaller, but nicer.
We were informed when we arrived that a group of high school wrestlers were arriving later but our room on the 4th floor would remain quite. Well we were sleeping when they arrived. They invaded the 4th floors and mad a lot of noise for over an hour. Called the front desk and opened our door. And ask them to stop slamming doors. Needless to say, we did not get the rest we need for our second 11 hour driving day. I understand that the staff cannot control this many kids, but we were paying guest who needed rest. Feel wee are entitled to our money back and will be requesting this from the hotel.
The room was too small for a king-size bed. No shampoo, conditioner,or lotion. Breakfast selection was poor.
Hotel was clean and staff was professional. The rooms are a bit smaller than conventional hotels, but oddly enough, I liked it and felt really comfortable. If more than 1 person is staying in the room you may want to request a suite or go the conventional hotel route. I highly recommend the Microtel in Rock Hill; great price and decent accommodations for the money.
This hotel is easy to find, clean, up-to-date and comfortable. Great value for a traveler.
Upon arrival I stood at the check out counter for no less than 2 minutes with the clerk sitting there and she didn't say a word to me. Finally, after finishing what she was doing, she said, "Checking in"? It was a hot day outside and the lobby and hallways were warm. Almost hot. The carpet was old and dirty. Wall trim was falling off in spots. My wife smokes so we asked for a smoking room. We expected it to smell like smoke but the room had a terrible odor. The room had a microwave but no coffee pot. The microwave didn't work. Maintenance came up to look at it and it turned out to be a loose power outlet. Come to find out all outlets were so loose our phone chargers and laptop cords kept falling out even after bending the prongs out as a last attempt to get power. The continental breakfast was basic as expected and that was okay except for the warm orange juice. In the end however, the coffee was great. Had several cups.
parking lot not well lite hallways and lobby not air conditioned carpets old and dirty sheets had hole in it room very small
Room was clean, simple, but small, I would go back for the price.
Experience at hotel was very pleasant. Was in town to attend a funeral, so location was quite convenient. Four other travelers stayed based on my recommendation. My experience with this brand has always been good.
Super nice staff. Breakfast was better than expected. Overall a great value for the price. The area around the edges of the bathroom faucet could have been a little cleaner, but, again, for the price, you can't beat it.
Only there for the night. Execellent place
