The day of my reservation they called Me to tell my booking was canceled due to where I reside- I booked this about a month ago and it would have been appropriate to notify me ahead of time. I don’t know if they run your information and make a decision based on how you present but I had another woman tell me they did the same Thing to her. For booking purposes, for Rock Hill residents it should be something to prevent the booking on any third party website to alleviate a potential inconvenience.

Horrible customer service manager is a thief

We were working a night shift they never gave us room service. They never even knocked on our door to see if we needed new bedding or new lines. Then I had a package that was supposed to be delivered there and it said it was signed for and the manager said she hasn’t seen it so she must’ve took it home with her because UPS said they dropped it off at the front desk and the manager sign for it Now I haven’t investigation going on with that

The worst stay of our lives. The hotel is currently under construction which is great because the place is disgusting. Mold was on the ceiling and under the couch. The air conditioning in the room would not cool off the room. The door to the room would often not unlock even with a valid key card. It would get stuck. The bathroom door knob got stuck and my husband could not get out of the bathroom. The actual door knob came completely off. We found a moldy pillow under the couch that our daughter was planning to sleep on. The only reason we picked this hotel was because it had an indoor gym, pool and hot tub. Both the gym and hot tub were closed. Breakfast was terrible. Don’t stay here. Don’t waste your money.

Hotel staff left lots to be desired. No warm greetings or friendliness. They were too busy on their cell phones kicked back in the chair to notice guests. The fire alarms went off around 10:30 pm. Everyone had to evacuate and the fire department showed up. After about 30 minutes, the fire department left and when we asked the front desk what happened and was it safe to return to our rooms, they said they were not sure, but thought so. We were on a floor that was under construction and the hallways smelled of chemicals and were humid. No one told us about this as we checked into the hotel. They bed frames were poorly put together and both beds had sharp metal sticking out on the right side. There was a feminine product unwrapped in one of the beds when the covers were pulled back.

Pros: Quick check in. Conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Cons: Property is going through renovations and therefore it has big plastic coverings on every level floor. The hotel didn't smell pleasant and the furniture in the rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast was not good and there is not much of a variety. Overall you get what you pay for, but not bad for a 1 night stay.

Stay away from Choice hotels

Hotel was old, dirty and falling apart. Did not have pillows or linens for the sofa bed, which was booked for 3 people with a king and a sofa for my child. When you pulled the sofa out, it didn’t fit in the room so you hit your leg on it when you walked by, there was mold on the vents, the pool was not heated and water cloudy only a few lights working in pool and hanging from ceiling, hot tub boarded up. We could have stayed at a newer red roof inn for half the price with no pool and been better off. Lots of things broken around the hotel and held together with wire.
