Shining Mountain is NOW a 3 Br./2.5Ba./Den plus office which can be locked off to a 2br./1.5 bath option on request basis only. Reviews for the past few years can be found under the 2 bedroom option and we encourage you to take a look! There are mountain biking and hiking trails called The RAT trails (Ridgway Area Trails) less than a mile away. Close to ski areas and Ouray Ice Park! My favorite place to sit is on the deck facing the mountains – it’s a big and inspiring view. When I enter the solace of my special home, the world makes sense, my worries fall away and I am at peace. You will understand once you arrive. There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and one and a half baths. Even the bathrooms are unique. The living room and kitchen layout creates a spacious great room, that is also a cozy gathering place. It is really pretty. There is a TV in the living room with Apple TV to access your Apple account (or Hulu and Netflix), so you can enjoy a movie. I have a newly remodeled kitchen with new appliances including a 36-inch gas, six-burner cook stove and oven. If I were you, I’d use the new gas grill on the deck and enjoy a meal at home. The kitchen is well supplied with nice cookware, and is a great place to prepare a home-cooked meal. Ridgway also has some sweet boutique restaurants and is starting to appeal to the foodie scene. If you extend your stay, you are welcome to use the laundry room or the garage, to dry out your wet gear in the winter. There is plenty of space in the garage on the carpeted floor to sort and leave your gear. Once you arrive, you will never want to leave. Please care and love my home as much as I do! My house sits on five acres, only two miles from downtown Ridgway. It is close to amenities, yet it feels far away. You will feel inspired by the stunning views of the Mt Sneffels Range, surrounded by gorgeous farmland and pinion juniper woodlands. There is a private residence off the garage that owner uses on occasion. We are quiet and respect the privacy of our guest enjoying the main portion of the house which is very private. Must have a vehicle and during winter we recommend All-wheel or Front-wheel drive or 4 x 4.

The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and 3 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.
