The gentleman manning the breakfast area was extremely attentive. He made sure everyone knew what was available and that they had everything they needed.

It is a well-kept but old building. There's no elevator. The sign for the motel isn't visible until you're standing in front of it.

The property may be a bit off the beaten path in Richmond but the price is right and the room was very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the hot tub was toasty with great jets and was very clean. The best part of my stay was the lovely, friendly front desk clerk who was extremely helpful and hospitable. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff is always welcoming. Debbie, in particular, is a gem. Very helpful. Richard always goes out if his way to make breakfast special.

Not worth the price

I arrived late at night and when I pulled up there was a fight going on in the parking lot. Unfortunately, my reservation was not refundable, because I would’ve left right then in there. Check in with the front desk staff was pleasant. The room was awful. Smelled of smoke. Sticky jelly on the floor. Dirty washing cloths and no dead bolt and latch also did not close. See pics.

Dated exterior some good features

Place is dated in some ways but they’ve done good updates in the room. Nice shower. I didn’t try the hot tub but I assume it might be a reason someone would choose this place. Others have a nicer feel to hallways and exterior.

The location was iffy to begin with, then we find out they have no elevator so my Mom whom is handicapped had to be carried up and down the stairs. Then our toilet clogged and they finally unclogged it after about 6hourse. We asked housekeeping to tidy up our room and leave clean bath linens, and we came back after being gone for 12 hours and had no clean bath linens and the room was the same way we left it, but that tip $$ we left for housekeeping was gone. Not to mention kids running and playing in the hallway up until 1am. Then the smell of marijuana coming through the walls. The staff were very friendly at the front desk. That’s the only upside about this place!

One night stay passing through

Passing through while traveling to a wedding , the room was clean AC was super chill and especially loved the rain shower ! Breakfast had many choices and Richard was outstanding . We would definitely stay here again !
