One of the best hotels ❣️❣️❣️ Very clean ❣️ Great staff ❣️ Helpful ❣️ Understanding ❣️ Great location ❣️ Near to old town ❣️ Have a variety of restaurants and markets nearby I love the chocolates that they put every time they clean the room ❤️❤️❤️ BIG LOVE ❣️
Of course this is a chain so it is not very charming but service and breakfast was very good. We were here for a wedding and it seems also very popular for business. It is close to the old town. The only problem was there was construction so resting in the room during the day was rather painful. They have a small gym as well.
We really enjoyed this placed in terms of service. The bkf is very nice, the staff is very attentive and helpful. The location is good, in between train station and old town (a few blocks from each). It had a small but nice gym and pool. Main issue was sleep quality, they were doing construction and despite what the signs say, it starts at 7AM. Keeps going during nap time (in case you nap). Even without construction it i easy to listen to noises from outside and contiguous room.
I recommend getting the junior suite room it nice and comfortable and perfect for families! The breakfast buffet is wonderful ! It has many foods including waffles, German cakes 🍰,and fresh orange juice! The only problem is that they do not have free parking 😤.
The hotel caters to North American businessmen and tourists. We were pleasantly surprised to see both the European outlet as well as the North American outlet in our rooms. The room itself is a very typical business hotel room... nothing fancy or flashy but comfortable and clean. We loved the large pool. A nice touch was the booth set up for runners that had a map of a 5K and 10K route near the hotel that you could get a training run in. The booth also had towels, ice water, and apples. While I personally didn't use it during this particular stay, as a distance runner I found this to be a very nice touch. If I had been in Heidelberg more than just one night, I would have for sure used this amenity.
Great hotel for families. Has an indoor pool for the kids. The staff is great and very helpful. They advised us to visit Fairytale Land and it was perfect for our two young kids. It is centrally located and across the street to a grocery store which was perfect for our kids. It is quite a ways from the train station, probably a 10-15 min walk. You can get a shuttle from the Frankfurt Airport that takes you directly to the hotel which was PERFECT and easy instead of taking trains. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with children.
A difficult to rate as if it was a lot cheaper then you would give it 5 stars. I thought it was a cheek when they wanted to charge me 5 euros to use the sauna! They are always friendly and we would stop here again as it also has its own car park. I just feel that this hotel is very expensive and not as plush as you would expect. I accept that Heidelberg is expensive anyway.
It was a pleasant surprise (after a few stays in European hotels) to have some comforts of home in the middle of a German town! Clean and comfortable room with AC, washcloths, and actual toiletries! Plus it had a great bar downstairs with friendly bartenders. Tram stop is right outside or you could just walk to downtown. Would definitely go back!
Stayed here for one night while travelling through Germany. Will admit that membership of loyalty programme was a factor in hotel choice. The building looks a little tired from the outside and corridors a little musty but this is a good hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. While the shower is over the bath, water pressure is fantastic. Breakfast is taken seriously here (we are in Germany after all!) and there is a good selection to suit every taste. Staff are professional and courteous. The hotel is located at the edge of the old town, close to the river, which is a 10 minute walk away.
The usual Crowne Plaza offering. A large hotel situated a bit of a walk from the old town. Comfortable room with tea/coffee making facilities, internet and air-con. Parking is convenient but charged. Small gym but ok. Quite pricey for what you get.
