From the shuttle to/from the airport, and arriving well before check in, the staff was very polite, accommodating, and friendly. I had a double room, of which one of the mattresses was pretty lumpy, the other very nice. But the overall conditions were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I normally do not write reviews.. but i feel i need to!!! we booked with traveling with our two children. After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical and almost booked with another area hotel.. And we are glad we DID Not.. so many people had written negative comments but we cant validate any of them. 1. the hotel is in a great location and walking distance to everything and great if you take MTA into Grand Central. 2. Staff is excellent, 3. Rooms were clean.. yes they are not big!! or huge as many complained, but what did you expect in nyc and if your staying hanging out in a hotel room it means your not enjoying what the city has to offer.. we had four of us.. and with bags for 2 days... and it was fine... if you really need room then you need to book a large suite with multiple rooms and pay 3x as much.. its all what you make of it.. 4. rooms were adequately furnished beds were comfortable. 5. So many complained about the bathrooms we still cant figure it out whats wrong with them .. they were fine for us.. 6. The price point was great / normal for the room in this part of nyc.. We are just glad we took other reviews comments with a grain of salt and stayed.. we will book again for sure

We left the room at 8:00am and returned at 10:00pm, and there had been no maid service. They did little to remedy the situation. Not likely to stay there again.

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The room smelled like smoke and when I told the desk of such, they shrugged their shoulders. Also the shower head was broken (and for some reason I was given a handicap room which I did not request). They offered to send maintenance but we chose to deal with the unfortunate situation before leaving early for something in Providence. The cost per night was very high for the level of service. Lobby actually looked nice but beyond that, things were not as they seem so to speak. I am unsure if I will trust what Orbitz puts on their site again after this experience. 3 stars implies average - this place was far from it. The folks at the desk were attempting to help but the negatives so out weight this positive.

The hotel was very convenient for us. The on-call airport shuttle was a real plus. The staff was very cordial every time we dealt with them.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I arrived in the morning after taking a red eye and was allowed to check in early to rest before my meeting. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable! I ate dinner at Legal Sea Food and it was delicious! Great place to stay.

Comfortable bed and room in general. Wish there had been a fridge in room. Prefer a room with the sink in the bathroom rather than separate - I know they have such rooms at this hotel. More hooks in bathroom would give me someplace to hang my towel and clothes.

Everything was perfect at the hotel this was my second time at the hotel. Great location around tons of things to do around the hotel. The bar and Starbucks inside was fantastic!

The staff was great but I wasn't crazy about the room. The toilet was in a room with a shower, the sink was outside the toilet room which would have been ok except there was no towel rod or towel hook by the sink. I put the towel on the closet shelf which was next to the sink. This was a 4 star hotel so I expected a hair dryer, there wasn't one. The shower was for a handicapped person but didn't have a shower door. When I took a shower the water went all over the bathroom floor. And the hand-held shower head wouldn't detach from the shower tube.

This was a nice to stay for our business trip. No complaints.

The room was very nice, but no breakfast or other amenities.

It was close and convenient. First time here just for the night but would stay here again.

glad we stayed

they skipped maid service one day!

We left the room at 8:00am and returned at 10:00pm, and there had been no maid service. They did little to remedy the situation. Not likely to stay there again.
