I reserved the room several months in advance, but when I arrived to check -in, the front desk lady told me that I has "requested" a room, not reserved one. I explained that I had paid for it. She told me that unfortunatlety, she did not have a room for me. She had me go over to Whiskey Petes across the street.

We got to the room... The room smelled like someone was just in the bathroom and pooped. When switching rooms no apology given. No luggage carts or even an offer to help with baggage. There was No fridge in the rooms, pool was closed for the season and so was almost every restaurant in the hotel. Very disappointed.

Trying to book Saturday night lodging only a few days out, we discovered that this place was literally 1/3 the price of virtually all other available hotels in the greater Vegas area (even factoring in the mostly-useless resort fee). There was a reason for that. As others have pointed out, the hotel is run down: missing ceiling tiles, dark hallways, CRT TVs, mysterious smells, etc. While we weren't interested in checking out attractions like the roller coaster, there were signs indicating these things were closed indefinitely. The line at the check-in desk at 7pm wrapped around a corner, with only 3 clerks trying to check in an army. I learned, upon finally reaching the desk (after 20+ minutes in line), that rooms were still in the process of being cleaned. Whether that was true, who knows: our room obviously hadn't been vacuumed (e.g. clods of dirt in the middle of the floor). We were also originally given a key that didn't work to a different room that sounded like it had a person in it already, and had to go back down and wait in line again. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the place was quiet and we got a good night's sleep there. Shower was A-OK. There's plenty of food options in the casino. And I kind of liked the Chuck E. Cheese old west vibe, complete with mannequin cowboys, taxidermied bears, vultures, etc.

I have waited for 45 minutes to check in. The room is smelly and you can smell heavy Marijuana in the hallway.

Our rooms were dirty, a/c unit did not work, we requested non smoking but the marijuana smell was worse..

We arrive back to our room at nearly 10:00 pm and it had not been cleaned!

Looks updated on the Casino side, but nothing is open really during the week. In fact, the monorail wasn't working Saturday/Sunday either. It just shows a ? on the casino newsletter. Denny's was nice (and open), the people were spectacular, but it's a place that apparently has fallen on hard times and closed as much as maximally possible. I think they went a bit too far. As for the rooms, unfortunately they took the worst hit in the casino's apparent downslide. I had three towels in a room with two beds, but the kicker was you had to find a clean side to them. Luckily it appears their quality control is if 1 side is white, keep it. Seriously, 3 out of three. I stayed two nights and house keeping never showed. I guess that is fine, don't really like them in the room, but I've never seen that before, not even at a Motel 6. And last, but certainly not least, I found two bugs crawling on the bed. Little black ones with big round body (like a large tick). Now if you're drunk and just won $500, none of these things matter. But if you're there for the night you do expect a little more out of the room. Casino is fine, people working there are awesome, but management has a lot of work to do to make this an actual hotel. I'm thinking maybe they should close the hotel and just keep a casino open. Or, please make a deal with a Motel 6 or Super 8 or something to come in and run the hotel.

pleasantly surpised with the room. Not too noisy, very comfortable bed. Outdated room but comfortable. Great water pressure. Slow check in. Need in-=room refrigerator. Shouldn't charge resort fee if too cold to use the facilities and rides are shut down.

check in was easy but the staff at the front desk was a bit short/rude when I had asked a simple question about a charge. Many of the tiles in the hotel where either missing or popped in the corner. The hotel room was ok, the sheets and the linen looked like they had been changed but the rest of the room looked like was cleaned after the last occupant, found a a pair of womens boots in the room too

Staff are excellent. Tv reception could be better and WiFi should be free with the resort costs. Regardless, the room was very comfortable and the casino is fun.

Staff at tree bar were beyond rude to the point where we almost left hotel and didn’t even care about getting our money back. The women who Checked is in was also very rude. Our rooms ac did not work and the bathroom was dirty. This is the second stay here that i have been disappointed. We will never be back!

Needed a hotel during CES week in Vegas. All mainstream hotels were highly overpriced due to this huge show. Decided to try a place in Primm. MMistake. It wasn’t cheap and it was definitely sub par. On a positive note, the bed appeared to be clean and linens were respectable. Place was very dated and needs TLC.

I ended up staying here due to every hotel in Las Vegas being $500+ a night or completely sold out due to the CES conference. Overalll, this hotel is probably what you would expect from an older, pretty rundown state line casino/resort. The hotel smelled old and musty upon arrival, and it just looked dirty and old. I checked on and went directly to my room to get some work done. The room was very outdated, had a musty smell to it, and there were cigarette burns all over the carpet. The hotel is so outdated that my room was equipped with an old tube television and dead batteries in the remote control. I found ESPN, tried to make out what was going on during the basketball game, and finally fell asleep. In all honesty, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning. Overall, it beat sleeping in my car, but that’s about it. I really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I would only stay there as an extreme last resort for lodging.

The first room given to me was not clean. I got it replaced with another room. The second was also not very clean. Dirty napkin was lying near the door. Empty water bottles were under the bed. The light was broken. Overall, a bad experience.

I’ve stayed here in the past and never had any complaints. However this time I have to say it was the worst hotel stay ever. Overall the casino floor’s appearance was fine, restrooms were clean and machines were wiped down. But the room was terrible. I found a pair of used eyelashes on the floor and trash stuffed behind the dresser. The floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Bathroom was just ok, I saw spots of water on the mirror and some dust on the floor. I’m never staying here again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone either. Rooms are inexpensive but after what I saw it’s not worth it.

Great place to stay a night, courtesy staff, clean rooms. Great location.

great place to stay and you could go to 2 other hotels close by.

We stayed here on a trip from Utah to California. It was OK but it wasn’t like staying in a Las Vegas resort. It was Friday night and a good rate and it was further down the road on our journey.

This was my worst experience at primm valley resort.. The rooms there are nasty and filthy.. I asked to be moved from one to another but, there was no difference. Hair in the sheets, In the bathroom sink and shower. Thank goodness I had my Lysol wipes to wipe off the toilet and sink. I came in late and there was no parking available. The door lock got jammed and had to use the chain to secure the door. Came in at about 9 my second night stay my room had not been cleaned. Had to call the next morning to get clean towels to shower. I will never stay at Buffalo Bills again.

good place to stay when you are in no hurry to get to Vegas
