First time at this hotel, and we really enjoyed it!! Property is cool for kids, and the rooms were nice and clean. The pool was big and not crowded, so our kids had a blast! Dennys kids meals were a great deal and open 24 hours. We also enjoyed seeing the Bonnie and Clyde exhibit.

The check in is horrible. The system ask what time you arrive I put 2pm, I know that check in at 3pm and was hoping to get the room earlier after 8h driving. At 2pm wasn’t ready, and 3pm the desk said the room is not ready wait another 30 min, at 3:30pm they said room will be ready at 4:30pm. I was waiting, they took the phone number to let me know when the room is ready. I got a message at 10:05pm!!!! Finally the room is ready. But at 6:01am I got a message and woke me up about check out!!!!

The room was dirty with coins and crumbs in the nightstand. The other surfaces were sticky as well. We tried to call to send more pillows and they didn't answer. My husband went down to ask and the woman was rude to him and told him no, you only get what's in your room. The ceiling panels were warped and falling down in the hallway and one of the elevators was broken. There also was no trash can in the room. I used to come here as a chikd and had fond memories but I would not stay here again.

I understand the Hotel and Casino is old but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep it clean and how about not using stained sheets and comforters. The air conditioner worked but would make loud voices acer 30 minutes AC needs to be worked on.

Lack of dining options as well as the dining quality of the facilities that are open is absurd! The bartending staff at the tree bar were not only rude, but simply inept at their jobs. The overall appearance of the property is inexcusable. If you don't make enough to maintain a facility to at least a mediocre standard, just shut the doors! Who exactly is your target demographic? You're missing the mark on all levels! This is a shame compared to how inviting and fun it used to be. DO BETTER!!!

The roof leaks so while walking through casino we felt like we were getting rained on. Looks like management doesn’t give house keeping enough time to properly clean rooms. I liked the easy access to the dennys restaurant. And the old cars with historic value were interesting.

I don't expect great amenities at a 2 star hotel, but I expect it to still be clean. It wasn't, especially the bathroom floor. The check in process was really slow, especially since I had already checked in online so all they needed to do was give me keys.

Not worth the risk
I used to love staying at State Line, but Buffalo Bills is the only hotel open now and I used to love it but it’s so dirty and if you don’t get the newer tower you may as well sleep in your car. I got lucky and was able to upgrade to a mini suite, and that was not ver nice but we got through the night. Pics: mini suite. I hope they can make a comeback.

This property was easy to get to. There were several choices for eating in the hotel and nearby. The gaming was updated and well maintained. The rooms were dirty the carpet in the room and in the hallways was dirty and stained. The furnature was stained. The sheets were clean. The walls in the room were dirty and had dirt and stains. You can see the heyel staff needed to spend more time cleaning the rooms the desk/dresser was warn with peeling paint. They are in desprate need of an update. Even the lock on the door looked damaged.

The rooms are super old and the shower in my room was so dirty, there was yellow soap stuck all over the shower. The casino is not too bad i played for a bit. Drinks were ok.

Dirty and broken. Terrible place to stay. Avoid
Dirty lobby, filthy room. I mean dirty floor with old coins and dust bunnies where you step getting in and out of bed. White floor mat in bathroom became brown from our feet walking in room. Only hot scalding water at the sink, no cold (whole cold valve broken) one lamp in the room that only worked part time. Big long black hairs on sheets in my bed and also what looked like food crumbs. Just unsanitary and truly gross. I woke with a rash. I hope it’s not from bed bugs. The whole place should be shut as a health hazard. I should have slept in my car! I should have taken pictures but I couldn’t wait to leave.
