Super 8 Portland Airport

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We stayed here 2 separate nights in September, one the night we arrived in Portland and one the night before we flew out of Portland. It's close to the airport, the rooms are comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. It's a little hard to find back off the road. Also, be aware it is a 3 story hotel with no elevator.

The beds are very comfy and the room was clean. But the combination of street traffic, airplane traffic, guests being awake at all hours, and very thin walls ensures a crappy night's sleep at the PDX Super 8.

This is a no frills hotel, but it's clean and located in close proximity to the airport.

Room 211 is the room next to the elctrical room on the second floor , It has terrible heavy noise just like a helicoper nearby, they know there is a problem but they still let me and my wife stay here, after I complainted about it but the stuff did nothing for that night.

They triple charged my card and made it a pain to get the money back on it.

God beds, good breakfast, the parking lot was fine

The towels were torn. The sheets were dingy and stained.

Within walking distance to a few eating establishments. Desk clerk at check in wasnt the best. Easy checkout. Shuttle was on time.

It's close to the airport and inexpensive. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was basic. Stuffy, small, spartan. The bathroom was old and the tub had seen better days. Fine for a late arrival, early departure. But there are nicer hotels in that same area.

Not a bad hotel and decent price. Proximity to Budget Rental return was primary consideration. No elevator in building, so not accessible for some. Good staff. Slightly aging building. They don't seem to vacuum all the way to the walls.

We stayed overnight at the super 8 hotel for our room morning flight. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel was a little dated. We did not take advantage of the breakfast

The room and staff were great. The outside was horrible. Our room was right by the side door. The area by the door was covered with cigarette butts. This was not the smoking area. I stayed there because they allowed pets. The pet area was covered with dog poop. No one cleans up after and the staff sure doesn't. maybe if they signed it, put some dog poop bags and a garbage can, it might encourage people. At least have staff clean it up once in a while it was gross. The room was clean but loud. The room was really nice for the price

Ok - up front, they don't have an elevator. That's kind of crazy for a 3-story hotel. And the complimentary breakfast offerings are meager and I wish they offered tea in-room and not just coffee with the little pot thing. But those are all little things when all you need is to get to the airport early the next day. Other than that - the room was VERY comfy and clean, the hot water was outrageously good, the bed was comfy, the staff pleasant, the shuttle excellent, it was very quiet, and I was very pleased overall.

Certainly nothing to write home about, but relatively comfortable and clean for short stays.

Unresponsive staff, basement room. I stayed here one night due to an early morning flight and icy conditions in Portland. The location work and getting to the airport was easy. However, The first floor rooms are daylight basement and I was put in the room next to the stairs. Very loud and when I asked to change I was told they could not move me because of the low rate I had received through Orbitz. Not acceptable.

Very clean all newly remodeled. Will definitely stay again

The hotel is near the airport. Great if you are catching an early plane or spending a few days in Portland. The room was clean, the bed was reasonably comfortable . . . not perfect but we slept well. The towels were nice and the bathroom clean. I hate a bathroom were you can see dust and accumulation at the corners or under the sink. This hotel was clean. We would stay here again. The breakfast was free and you could make fresh waffles. There was banana, yogurt, bread for toast and cold cereal and tiny cinnamon rolls.

Although the hotel is near the airport, the room was quiet. The complimentary breakfast food choices are limited.

This hotel offers great airport parking and shuttle service. The rooms are nice, but could you us a little updating. Nothing horrible, just some updating.

Nice accommodations, close to airport. Shuttle if needed. Early breakfast available. Clean room, quiet night.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. It is true that we do not have an elevator; we do however have no stair access on the bottom floor for guests that have special accessibility needs. We do hope you are not discouraged to stay with us in the future. Sincerely, Front Desk Manager
